Primero que nada, estoy feliz de que este concurso haya iniciado, me parece una excelente iniciativa que incentiva la creatividad de todos, y así poder apreciar las obras originales de todos mis colegas músicos. Ahora bien, hoy traigo una canción original que compuse justamente hace un par de días. Cuando me enteré de la iniciativa de Song Challenge tenías unos versos escritos por ahí, así que decidí continuar la idea para que surgiera una nueva canción. La música original muchas veces es la unión de varias cosas, sentimientos manifestados en el presente, idas filosóficas propias o de alguna otra obra, convicciones, esperanzas, etc. Lo que trato de decir es que la música no habla de una sola cosa si no de varias a la vez, y la canción que hoy traigo es un perfecto ejemplo. > First of all, I'm happy that this contest has started, I think it's an excellent initiative that encourages the creativity of all, and so I can appreciate the original works of all my fellow musicians. > Now, today I bring an original song that I composed just a couple of days ago. When I heard about the Song Challenge initiative you had some verses written there, so I decided to continue the idea to come up with a new song. > Original music is often the union of several things, feelings manifested in the present, philosophical ideas of my own or of some other work, convictions, hopes, etc. What I am trying to say is that music does not speak of only one thing but of several things at the same time, and the song I bring today is a perfect example.  ***"Aprender del pasado"*** es una canción que habla sobre la belleza de la inspiración y como esta nos puede dar esperanza para hacer el bien, y como los errores degradan nuestra mente con culpa y juicios. Hay luz y oscuridad en todo ser viviente, no es fácil para nada lidiar con sus demonios, solo necesitamos la fe suficiente para poder superarnos a nosotros mismos cada día. Otro punto de esta canción es el como podemos mirar hacia atrás, con desprecio o con conciencia, con tristeza o con un pensamiento de aprendizaje. Podemos recordar para mejorar y no para quedarnos en el pasado. Todo depende del equilibrio del buen pensamiento, por ejemplo, si recuerdas con apegos y arrepentimientos, seguramente te sentirás mal, pero si se recuerda con agradecimiento y ganas de evolución, la balanza se mantendría estable. Cuando digo frase: ***"Voy más rápido que la luz para ver el pasado"*** es porque una vez escuché una explicación científica que daba a entender que viajar más rápido que la velocidad de la luz daba la capacidad de viajar al pasado. > ***"Learning from the past"*** is a song that talks about the beauty of inspiration and how it can give us hope to do good, and how mistakes degrade our mind with guilt and judgments. There is light and darkness in every living being, it is not easy at all to deal with your demons, we just need enough faith to be able to overcome ourselves every day. Another point of this song is how we can look back, with contempt or with awareness, with sadness or with a thought of learning. We can remember to improve and not to stay in the past. > It all depends on the balance of good thinking, for example, if you remember with attachments and regrets, you will surely feel bad, but if it is remembered with gratitude and desire to evolve, the balance would remain stable. When I say the phrase: ***"I go faster than the speed of light to see the past"*** is because I once heard a scientific explanation that implied that traveling faster than the speed of light gave the ability to travel to the past.
