My friend and I were in a bit of a rush heading to the bus station because we were in an unfamiliar city and didn't know when the next train back would be. But when we passed by these little girls playing in the square, we smiled and relaxed a little.
Mi amiga y yo íbamos algo apuradas hacia la estación de autobuses porque estábamos en una ciudad desconocida y no sabíamos a qué hora sería el siguiente tren de regreso, pero cuando pasamos junto a estas niñas que estaban jugando en la plaza sonreímos y nos relajamos un poco.
Children are always happy, whether it rains or it's sunny and 40°C out. If it rains, they play in the rain; if it's hot, they play in the fountain. During winter, they warm up running after a ball and end up taking off their big jackets and leaving them on the ground to keep playing freely.
Los niños son siempre felices, si llueve o si hace sol y 40°C de calor, si llueve juegan en la lluvia, sí hace calor juegan en la fuente, durante el invierno entran en calor corriendo tras una pelota y y acaban quitándose sus chaquetones y dejándolos en el suelo para seguir jugando con libertad.
We adults have adult problems that we can't (always) solve by playing, but hey, the sky is still there. The sun, the moon, and the stars are still there, and there are still a thousand reasons to be happy.
Los adultos tenemos problemas de adultos que no (siempre) podemos solucionar jugando, pero hey, el cielo sigue allí, el sol, la luna y las estrellas siguen allí y siguen existiendo mil razones para ser felices.
