Today’s walk was different from yesterday. We went to a small festival in my husband’s hometown. It was lovely to bump into some old friends, exchange a few smiles and words, and just wander along without really heading anywhere.
I didn’t quite reach 10,000 steps today, but staying above 5,000 feels like a win for now. After a hard time, simply strolling with my family, feeling the quiet togetherness, was exactly what I needed.
As the mantra says, Everything I lose creates space for everything I need. Maybe walking slower and doing less is just making space to enjoy moments like this even more
