On this occasion, I want to share how this conviction has guided my path as a teacher, and even as a researcher. Love goes beyond human rationality; it can be seen as a rewarding element, based on the results.

In the context of my research on socio-emotional competencies for the transformation of practice in higher education, I have confirmed that love is not a soft word in pedagogy. It is a driving force that enables the transformation of practices and the construction of more human learning environments that open up fluid dialogue. Educating from love implies recognizing the emotional dimension of knowledge; that makes the difference in the results.

When I refer to results, I am referring to the security and self-confidence that students gain. They learn to regulate their emotions and participate actively. This significantly influences their academic performance.

We are not discovering new emotions; we are assessing how their application influences teaching practice, how students' well-being is maximized when it becomes part of our daily practice. On the other hand, this also requires that Teachers are able to regulate their own emotions, which are part of life itself, in order to achieve a harmonious environment.

We continue to build more humanistic environments from the ethics of love, from emotions, that is the task. It is not enough to simply teach how to gain trust; we need to take ownership of emotional management to share that love from our own feelings so that the objective is truly fulfilled 🎯.

Cuando enseñamos con respeto, empatía y ternura no solo ayudamos a formar estudiantes desde lo cognitivo, sino que formamos seres humanos capaces de reconocer su propio valor, incluso su impacto en la sociedad. El amor es motivador, una muestra de cariño sin perder el respeto marca diferencias importantes, aperturan al diálogo inminente.

La educación con amor fortalece vínculos, gana confianza, afianza la identidad, es capaz de aflorar lo mejor de los estudiantes, con solo un gesto, un trato diferenciado, es mostrarles que su opinión es valiosa, que cada palabra cuenta, el ambiente es mucho más amable.

Los estudiantes son dignos de respeto, es preciso escuchar, mostrar afecto, la rapidez de los procesos no hace menos importante el uso del amor como una filosofía de trabajo, como una guía ética para formar hombres y mujeres más humanistas.

Cuando analizo en lo que realmente transforma una clase, no son los contenidos ni las metodologías. Es el vínculo. Es el amor con el que miramos, acompañamos, más la confianza que acentuamos en cada uno de los estudiantes. Educar desde el amor es abrir espacios donde cada estudiante sienta que es tomado en cuenta, valorado para ser capaz de florecer. En ésta oportunidad quiero compartir cómo esta convicción ha guiado mi camino como docente, incluso como investigadora. El amor va más allá de la racionalidad del ser humano, se puede ver como elemento gratificante, desde los resultados.

En el marco de mi investigación sobre las competencias socio emocionales para la transformación de la práctica en la educación universitaria, he confirmado que el amor no es una palabra blanda en pedagogía. Es una fuerza motorizante que permite la transformación de prácticas, la construcción de ambientes de aprendizaje más humanas, que dan apertura a la fluidez en el diálogo. Educar desde el amor implica reconocer la dimensión emocional del conocimiento, eso hace la diferencia en los resultados.

Cuando me refiero a los resultados, es a la seguridad que van ganando los estudiantes, la autoconfianza, aprenden a regular sus emociones, a participar activamente, esto influye significativamente en su rendimiento académico.

No estamos descubriendo nuevas emociones, estamos valorando como influye su aplicación en la práctica docente, como se maximiza el bienestar de los estudiantes cuando se hace parte de nuestra práctica diaria, por otro lado esto también requiere que los docentes sean capaces de regular sus propias emociones, esas que forman parte de la vida misma, para así lograr un ambiente armonioso.

Seguimos construyendo desde la ética del amor, desde las emociones, ambientes más humanistas, esa es la tarea. No basta solo con enseñar a ganar confianza, es necesario apropiarnos de la gestión emocional para compartir ese amor desde nuestro propio sentir para que verdaderamente se cumpla con el objetivo 🎯.
