Every year we invent something to renew or create new Christmas decorations at home 🏡. My mom was determined to give a new look to the old paintings and even make new ones with Example: unused wall clocks, a piece of cardboard in the shape of a moon, it's a totally creative adventure.

The style is very colorful, focusing on the more traditional Christmas theme 🎄: green, red, some silver, gold, white.

The Christmas tree won't be like last year's one on the wall either; this one is already taking shape. It's a dry tree branch. It has a Nordic style so far because we painted it white, the lights the same color. The backdrops will really pop, but we're still deciding what to put on them.

The cake bases will also have a starring role; now they stand out with lots of color, crossed threads, a real creative explosion.

I like to share these projects with my mom because she has great ideas. We always agree on what will be done, although her tastes predominate because it's her house and she's in charge. Hehe, but seeing her happy with her inventions makes me happy. Plus, it's an activity we can do together.

We are mainly working with recycled materials. We bought acrylic paint, foam, and silicone sticks. The rest are things we have at home 🏡. These days, my mom thinks of herself as a kid with new toys. Every time we finish a project together, she gets so happy. After everything is ready, we'll put things back where they belong, including the Christmas tree. We're looking for ideas for the base of the tree, trying to make it stand out too. Cada año algo nos inventamos para renovar o crear nuevas decoraciones navideñas en casa 🏡. Quizás no son la tendencia o colores neutros, pero si están hechas con mucho amor ❤️, reutilizamos materiales, es un proceso totalmente creativo, que no solo llenará de color nuestro hogar sino que nos alimenta el espíritu de la época más hermosa de nuestro año.

Mi mamá es una mujer que no tiene descanso, siempre tiene que estar haciendo algo durante el día, Jejeje, de verdad que es intensa, pero eso me encanta particularmente, porque me involucra en sus proyectos con material de provecho.

Estuvimos haciendo durante toda ésta semana cuadros con diferentes materiales, como retazos de tela, revistas, pintura acrílica, flores de tela, foami, vinil sintético, todo lo que conseguimos que se puede reutilizar ♻️.

Mi mamá estaba empeñada en darle una nueva cara a los cuadros viejos e incluso hacer nuevos con por ejemplo: relojes de pared sin uso, un retazo de cartón en forma de luna, es una aventura creativa totalmente.

El estilo es bien colorido, enfocados en la temática de navidad 🎄 más tradicional, verde, rojo, algunos plateados, dorados, blanco.

El árbol de Navidad tampoco será como el año pasado hecho en la pared, éste ya está tomando forma. Es una rama seca de un árbol, tiene un estilo nórdico hasta ahora porque lo pintamos de blanco, las luces del mismo color, la explosión de color la tendrá con las bambalinas, estamos decidiendo aún que poner.

Las bases de torta o pastel también tendrán un papel protagónico, ahora resaltan con mucho color, hilos cruzados, toda una explosión creativa.

Me gusta compartir con mi mamá estos proyectos, porque ella tiene ideas geniales, aparte de que siempre nos ponemos de acuerdo en que se hará, aunque sus gustos predominan en todo porque es su casa y ella manda, Jejeje, pero verla feliz con sus inventos me hace feliz, además es una actividad que podemos hacer juntas.

Principalmente, estamos trabajando con materiales reutilizados, lo que compramos es pintura acrílica, foami, silicón en barras, el resto son cosas que tenemos en casa 🏡. Mi mamá estos días se ve como una niña con juguetes nuevos, cada vez que terminamos un proyecto juntas se pone super contenta. Después que todo esté listo estaremos colocando las cosas dónde van, incluso el árbol de Navidad. Estamos buscando algunas ideas para la base del árbol tratando de que también destaque. Como siempre he dicho, el reciclaje o reutilizar materiales no tiene que hacer un trabajo feo, al contrario se pueden hacer piezas bellísimas.
