Stepping into the Casa Gorordo is like entering a time capsule.The Casa Gorordo is a beautiful example of bahay na bato architecture a style that blends indigenous Filipino design with Spanish colonial influences.The first thing that struck us was the grand staircase perfect for those Instagram worthy shots as we wandered through the rooms we were captivated by the intricate details the antique furniture, the delicate porcelain and the beautifully crafted wooden floors.Each room told a story hinting at the lives of the people who once called this place home.

We explored the sala or living room imagine the grand gatherings and lively conversations that must have taken place there.

The dining room with its long,elegant table,painted a picture of family meals and celebrations.We even got to see the bedrooms which offered a more intimate glimpse into the lives of the Gorordo family.

Erika was being an architecture observant was amazed by the structural details of the house she pointing out the unique blend of materials and design elements.I also amazed more on the portrait which has the personal touches the old photographs that the family inheritance that made the house feel so alive.

One of the highlights of our visit was the azotea or also called terrace at first I don't have any idea what azotea means but thanks to Casa Gorordo I had another book worm that will put on my memory dictionary.The Casa Gorordo also has a cool and breezy space which overlooking in the entire area.

We could just imagine the Gorordo family relaxing here,enjoying the cool evening breeze and the sounds of the city,I was just wondering how they feels living in a wealthy life during the spanish era.anyway the Casa Gorordo also has the perfect spot to take a break and soak in the atmosphere.Don't forget to check out the small museum within the house.It contains artifacts and displays that further enrich the experience giving context to the history of the house and the Gorordo family.

for the entrance fee their regular rate cost 100 pesos, 150 pesos for foreigners or Special guided tourist and for those discouted person the entrance free cost 50 pesos which goes towards the preservation and maintenance of the Casa Gorordo.

Family dining takes place in front of the recreational space accompanied by an ornate cupboard which holds their elegant silverware. The Gorordos preserved expensive Geisha cups as part of their collection while such cups appeared as Geishas only when exposed to light.

Old plates and brown cups together with kitchen tools create a visual display in the kitchen area.
Simple household items including plates and cups as well as farming implements demonstrate many aspects of daily life and difficulties faced by ancestors. What did they eat? How did they organize their home affairs? These items reveal essential insights about their daily life through silent communication.
