October Trails Turned Winter Treks🇮🇳

Hello Hive Family. I hope you're all healthy and happy.

Friends, as I mentioned in my previous blog, we've completed route marking to Kothi Top. The next part of the journey is beyond Kothi Top, which is known for its beautiful forests, exciting trails, and snow-covered slopes.

The sky is clear, and the sun's rays peek through the trees. After covering a short distance, we start to see snow on the way. The three of us are delighted to see the snow. I've been participating in this event as a volunteer for the past six years, but this is the first time I've seen so much snow during route marking in October. Usually, the path is dry by this time, but this time the weather has shown something different.

As we progress, the snow layer thickens, with about a foot of snow here. Walking has become a little difficult. @himalayanwomb is leading the way, making his way through the fresh, soft snow. Following their footsteps makes it a little easier.

Slowly, our shoes became wet with snow. We felt a tingling sensation in our feet. But the surrounding scenery was so mesmerizing that all our fatigue vanished. We hadn't brought sunglasses. The sunlight falling on the glistening snow made our eyes water, yet we all continued on, smiling.

I took these photos with my Sony A58 camera and edited them on Snapseed.
