Trail route marking hike from Kothi village to Solang village, which we did for the trail running event held on 10th October.
We're marking from Kothi Top onwards. The path is covered in snow, and dark clouds are gathering in the sky. Among the three of us, @himalayanwomb is leading the way, marking the route so that the trail is clear for upcoming runners. Walking in the snow is challenging. As we cross the tree line, the snow depth increases, reaching over a foot in some places.
Light snow has begun to fall. There's snow everywhere. This October's snowfall has enhanced the beauty of the mountains many times over.
We slowly made our way towards Khobi, the base camp for Patalsu Peak. By the time we reached there, the sun was setting. The last golden rays of the sun falling on the Hanuman Tibba visible ahead look absolutely beautiful, as if nature is watching us in all its serenity and grandeur. Evening falls as we mark the route. We feel tired. Upon reaching Solang village, we have dinner and sleep peacefully.
