My visit to the Las Garzas teaching unit // [ENG - ESP]

Today was a day I usually use to rest and get all my things together for the week, but I had an appointment scheduled several months ago, which was canceled, and I rescheduled for today. I couldn't wait any longer since getting an appointment with this specialist is quite difficult; there can be a waiting list of up to three months. So, despite the weather and my desire to rest, I got up to go there. I hadn't been to this medical center before, so I didn't know the exact address or how to get there. So, I had to call a taxi. The gentleman was super nice. I didn't go alone, I went with my son. When I arrived, I could see how beautiful the place was. The downside was the wait time, as the doctor takes her time with each patient, and we were in the waiting room for almost two hours. But I made the most of it by taking photos of the floor because I want this technique for when I start building my house. I also added it to my specialist's list in case I ever have another emergency. I must say that I have already seen 3 endocrinologists since my thyroid problems exploded and I had only felt comfortable with one, but unfortunately he left the country. Although the same thing happened to me with this doctor, I was very pleased to realize how attentive she was to everything, not only my hormonal tests but also my other symptoms. In December of last year, I had thyroiditis, my gland became so inflamed that it prevented me from speaking. I was pleased with the treatment she prescribed and I must go for a check-up in three months. There, they will decide whether or not I should undergo surgery. Afterwards, we returned home, somewhat tired but calm and happy. >Hoy fue es un día en el que por lo general lo uso para descansar y arreglar todas mis cosas para la semana, pero tenía una cita programada desde ya hace varios meses la cual me cancelaron y reprograme para hoy, no podía dejar pasar más tiempo ya que tener una consulta con esta especialista es bastante difícil, llega a tener una lista de espera hasta de 3 meses. Así que a pesar del clima y de las ganas de descansar me levante para ir al lugar. >No había ido antes a este centro médico por lo que no sabía su única exacta ni como llegar, por lo que me toco pedir un taxi, super amable el señor, no fui sola fui con mi hijo. Y al llegar pude notar lo lindo del lugar, lo malo fue el tiempo de espera pues la Doctora se toma su tiempo con cada paciente y estuvimos en la sala de espera casi dos hora, pero las aproveche bien tomando fotos del piso pues quiero esta técnica para cuando empiece a construir mi casa, y a la lista de especialista por si en algun momento tengo alguna otra emergencia. >Debo decir que ya me he visto con 3 endocrinos desde que mi problemas con la tiroides exploto y solo me había sentido comoda con uno pero lamentablemente se fue del país, aunque con esta doctora me paso igual me gusto mucho darme cuenta de lo atenta a todo, no solo a mis exámenes hormonales sino también de mis demás síntomas pues en diciembre del año pasado tuve una tiroiditis mi glandula se inflamo de tal manera que no me permitía el paso de la voz. Quede complacida con el tratamiento que me indico y debo ir a control dentro de tres meses allí se decidirá si debo o no someterme a una cirugía. Luego regresamos a casa algo cansados pero tranquilos y felices.
