Hola a todos amigos de Hive! Hoy les traigo esta ilustración que hice para un sticker.

On June 21st, we celebrated International Nikkei Day (Day Japanese Descendants) in Cuba. For this celebration, I was responsible for illustrating many of the gifts that were later given to members of the Nikkei community in Cuba. Among these gifts, I also illustrated a collection of Japanese-themed stickers. Today, I want to show you the Dango sticker and its process, and also explain what dango is.

El pasado 21 de junio celebramos en Cuba el día internacional del Nikkei (Descendiente de Japonés). Para dicha celebración fui el encargado de ilustrar muchos de los obsequios que posteriormente se entregaron a los miembros de la comunidad nikkei de Cuba. Entre dichos obsequios también ilustré una colección de stickers con temática japonesa. Hoy les quiero mostrar el sticker de los Dangos y su proceso, y de paso explicarles que son los dangos.

What are dangos? Qué son los Dangos?

Dangos are small balls of mochi (glutinous rice paste) pierced by a small skewer-shaped stick.

Los dangos son pequeñas bolas de mochi (pasta de arroz glutinoso) atravesadas por un pequeño palo en forma de brochetas.

All images used are my own. I didn't use AI or reference materials to create them. Everything was drawn using my Wacom Intuos S CTL-4100 tablet using Clip Studio Paint Ex drawing software. Only the dango image from Wikipedia was taken from the aforementioned encyclopedia.

Todas las imágenes utilizadas son de mi autoría, para hacerlas no he utilizado ia ni material de referencia, todo ha sido dibujado a haciendo uso de mi tablet wacom intuos s ctl-4100 en el software de dibujo Clip Studio Paint Ex. Solo la imagen de dangos de Wikipedia ha sido tomada de la enciclopedia anteriormente mencionada.
