Qué es Mochi?

Mochi (餅, もち) is a Japanese pastry made from mochigome, a small grain of glutinous rice. The rice is pounded into a paste and molded into the desired shape. In Japan, it is traditionally made in a ceremony called mochitsuki. Although eaten year-round, mochi is a traditional New Year food in Japan and is most commonly consumed during that season. The Korean version of this food is called tteok (떡).

El mochi ( 餅, もち) es un pastel japonés hecho de mochigome, un pequeño grano de arroz glutinoso. El arroz se machaca hasta convertirlo en una pasta y se moldea con la forma deseada. En Japón se hace tradicionalmente en una ceremonia llamada mochitsuki.​ Aunque se come durante todo el año, el mochi es un alimento tradicional del año nuevo en Japón y se consume más comúnmente durante esa temporada. La versión coreana de este alimento es llamada tteok (떡).

All images used are my own. I didn't use AI or reference materials to create them. Everything was drawn using my Wacom Intuos S CTL-4100 tablet using Clip Studio Paint Ex drawing software. Only the Mochi Daifuku image from Wikipedia was taken from the aforementioned encyclopedia.

Todas las imágenes utilizadas son de mi autoría, para hacerlas no he utilizado ia ni material de referencia, todo ha sido dibujado a haciendo uso de mi tablet wacom intuos s ctl-4100 en el software de dibujo Clip Studio Paint Ex. Solo la imagen de Mochi Daifuku de Wikipedia ha sido tomada de la enciclopedia anteriormente mencionada.
