An announcement that can redefine the map of global robotics UBTech, a Chinese giant in the creation of humanoid robots, secured a credit line of up to $1 billion. The objective is ambitious, to build a superfactory accompanied by a research and development center and a new headquarters in the Middle East.

The bet is clear, to transform humanoids into a scale product and no longer a laboratory exception. Founded in 2012 in Shensei, UBTech built its reputation with low-cost robots for education, healthcare, logistics and manufacturing, but its Walker S series is the big calling card.

Humanoids already applied in industrial training programs alongside giants such as BYG, Jilly, Audi, Volkswagen and even Foxcon, in July the company signed a $12 million contract with Migi Automotive Technology, considered the largest commercial order for humanoids to date, now with Infini Capital, the plan is to accelerate that curve on an international scale.

The partnership is not just financial.

In addition to the credit facility, Infini Capital increased its shareholding in UBTech by 5% and opened access to capital instruments such as convertible bonds and cash withdrawals, for Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, where Infinit is based, is a strategic step towards a robust AI robotics and smart manufacturing ecosystem.

For UBTech it is the opportunity to guarantee global leadership in a rapidly expanding market projected by Morgan Stanley to exceed 2 billion by 2050. From a technical point of view, the creation of a superfactory indicates that the company does not only intend to innovate, but also reduce unit costs, scale production and directly compete for spaces with men such as Unitree, Robotics and Boston Dynamics.

UBTech itself has already shown signs of financial maturity. In the first half of 2025, it increased its income by 27%, reaching $87 million while reducing losses. The climax of this movement is geopolitical, the Middle East is positioned as a new high-tech pole and by bringing UBTech to its region, Infinite signals that the next phase of the robotics revolution will not be restricted to Asia or the United States.

We are talking about humanoids integrated into factories, logistics centers and even customer services on a scale never seen before. If until now humanoids were symbols of a distant future, it seems that this time we are about to see their mass production begin in a superfactory. It cannot yet be confirmed whether it will be in the Saudi desert, in Chinese or North American lands, although Europe has also entered into this dispute.
