EXOTIC DISCO SHORTS and a PRETTY-PUNKY SHORT DRESS

This has been a week of much mystical movement in our lives and work: in case you didn’t hear, vincentnijman and I finally found our dream homestead a week ago, and are preparing to TODAY move into a tent on some glorious land over in north Molise…. And I’ve been using my sewing practise as a means of grounding the extreme excitement!!
Sewing blog: How to make your jeans from scratch
by @rayoo
Hi, my fellow needleworker! I hope you all are doing well. I made a jean from scratch recently and it turned out to be beautiful so I'd like to show you through the process, what inspired it and the outcome. It's been approximately 5 years since I started making my wardrobe. I find it hard at first to make a ready-to-wear outfit like a t-shirt, jeans, shirts, and so on. One of the issues I faced was getting suitable materials. However, I realise that I was looking for them in the wrong place. Now I'm able to get the materials although not all.
🌹 Rose Bouquet Bag Commission — A Painful but Joyful Crochet Journey
by @jonalyn2020
Hello, Hive friends! 💕 It’s #NeedleworkMonday again, and today I’m excited to share one of my most challenging yet fulfilling crochet projects so far—my version of the rose bouquet bag. 🌹 A regular customer of mine sent me a photo of a beautiful rose bouquet-style crochet bag. He was interested in having one made and asked me about the price. I gave him two options: If he wanted the bag made with soft yarn, I could do it for ₱800. But if he preferred a sturdy version using 1.5mm tiny cords, it would cost ₱1300.
A Placemat for a Kind Soul: Crochet on the Road
by @theworldaroundme
I've been all over the place this week and could hardly sit still to stitch, but as usual, I took the chance to create something while we were on our way to Frodsham to visit my lovely father-in-law. He's such a kind man, not the grumpy sort at all, and always deserves a little treat. Last time we visited, I noticed him folding kitchen towels to stop his plate from sliding around on his tray. So I decided to make him a proper placemat this time around.
