¡Qué onda! ¿Cómo andan?
How 's it going?
Llevo en Chile nueve años, me gustan sus paisajes, eso es lo que más rescato de mi estadía acá.
I have been in Chile for nine years, I like its landscapes, that is what I most appreciate about my stay here.
Pero se extrañan las costumbres, salir temprano del laburo, ir a comer pizzas a terrícolas, correr por el polideportivo y hasta ir al club el domingo.
But we miss the habits, leaving work early, going to eat pizzas at Terrícolas, running around the sports center and even going to the club on Sundays.
Aunque, lo que más extraño, son las facturas, medialunas, vigilantes, etc, acá esas cosas no las encuentro de forma frecuente, cuando logró encontrar alguna veo con tristeza que les llaman “pastelitos” y claramente no son ni saben igual.
Although, what I miss the most, are the bills, croissants, watchmen, etc, here I don't find those things frequently, when I manage to find some I see with sadness that they are called "pastries" and clearly they are not and don't taste the same.
Cosas que solo alguien que ha salido del país extraña, ya que cuando las tenemos es normal ir por las tardes a comprarlas y disfrutarlas con un buen café con leche.
Things that only someone who has left the country misses, because when we have them it is normal to go in the afternoons to buy them and enjoy them with a good coffee with milk.
A pesar de todo, por lo menos acá si consigo la yerba y disfruto de mis buenos mates.
Hoy por ejemplo está lloviendo y disfruto de mis mates frente a la compu escuchando buena música.
In spite of everything, at least here I do get the yerba mate and enjoy my good mates.
Today, for example, it is raining and I enjoy my mates in front of the computer listening to good music.
Para acompañar una berlinesa rellena de dulce de leche.
To accompany it, a berlinesa filled with dulce de leche.
Te extraño Argentina 🇦🇷, como te extraño.
Y aunque mis hijas y esposa son chilenas, aman a Argentina como si fuese su verdadera patria.
I miss you Argentina 🇦🇷, as I miss you.
And although my daughters and wife are Chilean, they love Argentina as if it were their true homeland.
