What's up, hivers?
My child first went far away at the age of 20; it’s painful, but as parents, we really have to sacrifice, especially for their future. Her aunt plans to sponsor her to study college in Canada. There’s some hesitation because it’s far, but we understood that this is truly an opportunity. So we decided to say yes to the plan even if it’s lonely, for the sake of his future. The struggle is truly real. who loves her children deeply will do everything for them. Even when they cross the street or ride a jeepney, She still worries, even if they’re already grown up, thinking something might happen. My children call me an “OA” (overacting) mom. But I fought through all of this with prayer. I surrendered everything to God. And I’m thankful that He blessed me with 2 children who are kind.
We may have our differences, but that’s just part of their growing up.
We’re already at the airport. It’s my child’s first flight and he has no experience at all. He’s traveling alone, so I’ve been praying hard. I’m just hoping he’ll safely reach her aunt in Sudbury, from Cebu to Manila, Manila to Vancouver, Vancouver to Toronto, and finally Toronto to Sudbury, her final destination.
By the way, the way my child was able to leave was through a student visa processed by her uncle’s agency, SandL Visa Exchange Solution.
The approval for my child was really fast. So far, many have already been able to leave through that agency. His classes start on May 5, so he left on April 27.
The name of the school is Cambrian College, where he is taking up PSW (Personal Support Worker). While studying, he’s also allowed to work for a certain number of hours.
His very first job, in uniform, is at Canadian Tire.
Then he practiced driving because whenever they had to go somewhere, he was the one who had to drive, her uncle is already old and her aunt is afraid to drive. After just a few days and months, he already knew how, so he got his license, and now he’s the one driving.
Then the time finally came when my child graduated. Finally! Thank You, Lord, for the blessings You have given through our prayers. You never abandon us. This June, his PR (Permanent Residency) was approved. He is now a Permanent Resident in Canada. Thank You, Lord God.
Thank you for sparing your time to visit my blog. Adieu!
