What's up, hivers?

Visiting my father-in-law’s house in Linao, Minglanilla, Cebu with my husband and our pet dog, Brownie. Did you know, fellow Hivers, that I am also a fur parent? Since I was young, I’ve always loved dogs. Back then, I used to think that all dogs belonged outside because that’s what I saw while growing up in our province.

Brownie and My Husband’s Story
At first, my husband wasn’t comfortable with Brownie. But when our children left and it was just the two of us at home and since he no longer had work, he often stayed at home that’s when he and Brownie grew close. Brownie would snuggle next to him, lie on his arm whenever he rested, and greet him with so much excitement and kisses when he arrived. My husband eventually felt happy with the good vibes Brownie gave him, and until now, the two of them are really close.

But before I continue, let me share something about how Brownie came to us. My niece left for Canada, and since her father really didn’t like dogs, she decided to leave Brownie with us because she knew I loved dogs. The thing is, my husband didn’t like dogs either. But there’s a story behind how my husband and Brownie eventually connected. But Brownie is very well-behaved, like a person who understands whatever we tell him. One reason they became close is because Brownie is kind and very lovable ,if he were a person, he would be caring, affectionate, and lovable. **Love** has a beautiful destination.
