Hola amigas y amigos de HIVE DIY. En esta oportunidad estaré compartiendo con ustedes lo que es el reemplazo de una cerradura sobrepuesta, las cuales tienen la característica de no estar dentro de la estructura como la gran mayoría. Estas normalmente son utilizadas en puertas metálicas, y son muy fáciles de reemplazar, en caso de sufrir alguna falla en su funcionamiento.
Hi friends of HIVE DIY. In this opportunity I will be sharing with you what is the replacement of a deadbolt lock, which have the characteristic of not being inside the structure as most of them. These are normally used on metal doors, and are very easy to replace in the event of a malfunction.

Utilizando un cortador angular o esmeril y una disco de corte para metal, procedemos a cortar los puntos de soldadura de la vieja cerradura, para así poder lograr su extracción.
Using an angle cutter or grinder and a metal cutting disc, we proceed to cut the welding points of the old lock, in order to remove it.

Second step
Utilizando un disco de desbaste, procedemos a eliminar los restos e irregularidades de la soldadura antigua, con el fin de no tener desniveles al momento de colocar la nueva cerradura.
Using a grinding disc, we proceed to eliminate the remains and irregularities of the old weld, in order to avoid unevenness when placing the new lock.

Third step
Para finalizar, realizamos una secuencia de pasos, los cuales son: Presentar la nueva cerradura, alinearla correctamente, utilizando electros 6013 soldar la parte de la cerradura que corresponde a la puerta, sacar todos los pasadores o seguros de la cerradura, ubicar y alinear la parte de la cerradura que corresponde al marco de la puerta utilizando los pasadores como guías y así soldarla posteriormente. Es importante realizar las alineaciones teniendo la puerta cerrada, para así lograr una buena alineación y un correcto funcionamiento de la cerradura. Y pues, esto ha sido todo por esta oportunidad, gracias por el apoyo.
To finish, we perform a sequence of steps, which are: Present the new lock, align it correctly, using electros 6013 weld the part of the lock that corresponds to the door, remove all the pins or locks of the lock, locate and align the part of the lock that corresponds to the door frame using the pins as guides and then weld it.
