Restoration and activation of semi-industrial stove.
Hola amigas y amigos de HIVE DIY. Hace algunos días, vino a mi taller un buen amigo, el cual tenía la necesidad de reparar una estufa semiindustrial, la cual es muy común ser utilizada para cocinar alimentos en grandes cantidades. Luego de conversar un rato con el, me di cuenta de que sus intenciones son las de iniciar un emprendimiento. Me pidió solo que la hiciera funcionar, ya que la necesitaba con urgencia, así que, al ver sus ganas de trabajar, decidí hacerle una restauración completa, cosa que estaba en sus planes. Así que amigos, les traigo dicha restauración, espero que les guste.
Hi friends of HIVE DIY. A few days ago, a good friend of mine came to my workshop, who needed to repair a semi-industrial stove, which is very common to be used to cook food in large quantities. After talking to him for a while, I realized that his intentions are to start a business. He only asked me to make it work, as he needed it urgently, so, seeing his desire to work, I decided to do a complete restoration, which was in his plans. So friends, I bring you this restoration, I hope you like it.

Primer paso
First step
Muy bien amigos, lo primero será desarmar todas las partes de la estufa, con el fin de poder trabajar en cada una de ellas individualmente. Luego de tener las partes separadas, con un cepillo de alambre, procedemos a limpiar las impurezas del quemador y el exceso de óxido de la estructura.
Very well friends, the first thing to do is to disassemble all the parts of the stove, in order to be able to work on each one of them individually. After having the parts separated, with a wire brush, we proceed to clean the impurities of the burner and the excess of oxide of the structure.

Segundo paso
Second step
Luego de limpiar las partes de la estufa, procedemos a unir las partes rotas de la misma. Utilizando alambre de albañilería, llevamos las partes a su sitio, para posteriormente ser soldadas con electrodo 6013. Luego de ser soldadas, debemos eliminar el exceso de soldadura con un disco de desbaste y así mejorar la presentación.
After cleaning the parts of the stove, we proceed to join the broken parts of the stove. Using masonry wire, we take the parts to its place, to be later welded with 6013 electrode. After welding, we must remove the excess weld with a grinding disc to improve the presentation.

Al terminar la reparación de la estructura, procedemos a preparar la etapa del suministro de gas. Para lo que debemos ubicar y alinear el quemador en su sitio y en la entrada de gas debemos soldar una tuerca, la cual debe ser compatible con la llave de regulación. En la parte inferior de la entrada de gas, debemos agregar un suplemento que servirá para darle firmeza a la llave reguladora, y así evitar posibles rupturas y escape del gas inflamable.
After finishing the repair of the structure, we proceed to prepare the gas supply stage. For which we must locate and align the burner in its place and in the gas inlet we must weld a nut, which must be compatible with the regulating key. In the lower part of the gas inlet, we must add a supplement that will serve to give firmness to the regulating key, and thus to avoid possible ruptures and escape of the flammable gas.

Muy bien, previamente ya tenía la llave reguladora preparada, la cual debe contar con una boquilla de salida. La misma se encargará de expulsar el gas a alta presión en dirección hacia el quemador. También debe contar con una extensión metálica en la entrada que proviene del suministro. Dicha extensión debe tener una reducción compatible con la manguera de suministro. Teniendo en cuenta estos factores, procedemos a ubicar y fijar la llave reguladora en su posición y así pasar a la etapa de prueba.
Very well, previously I had already prepared the regulating valve, which must have an outlet nozzle. It will be in charge of expelling the gas at high pressure in the direction of the burner. It must also have a metal extension at the inlet coming from the supply. This extension must have a reduction compatible with the supply hose. Taking these factors into account, we proceed to locate and fix the regulating key in its position and thus move on to the testing stage.

Ya en la etapa de funcionamiento, instalamos el suministro de gas, para así determinar el correcto funcionamiento de la estufa en todas las intensidades de fuego. Muy importante, debemos asegurarnos de que el sistema no posea ningún tipo de fugas y así evitar cualquier tipo de accidentes.
Already in the operation stage, we install the gas supply, in order to determine the correct operation of the stove in all fire intensities. Very important, we must make sure that the system does not have any leaks and thus avoid any type of accidents.

Sixth step
Luego de haber terminado con las pruebas de funcionamiento y medidas de seguridad, finalizamos esta restauración con la etapa de pintura, en la cual aplicaremos fondo anticorrosivo para altas temperaturas, y así extender la vida útil de la estufa. Sin nada más que agregar amigos, gracias por su atención, espero que hayan disfrutado de esta oportunidad para apoyar a un compañero.
After having finished with the operation tests and safety measures, we finish this restoration with the painting stage, in which we will apply anti-corrosive primer for high temperatures, and thus extend the life of the stove.
