Hello dear community! I hope everyone's having a good day. As for me, I'm happy to share with you a fun and memorable event I attended. It was our friends' 3rd wedding anniversary and we're happy we got to celebrate it with them.
It was just a simple celebration but filled with laughter and fun. My mom and my younger brother went together with some other common friends. We're actually close to both of the couple and we treat them as a part of our family.
This couple is truly inspiring, just days after their marriage, they left their hometown to volunteer in our place and has been helping many people learn about comforting truths from God's word. They have to live far from their family and friends but they have gained more people who love and appreciate their sacrifices and hard work. We're truly grateful that they remained with us for three years now. We're happy to spend moments of laughter, share what we have and comfort each other during difficult times.
Each of us prepared food to enjoy together with the celebrants. We enjoyed the food that everyone has brought. There is spaghetti, sweetened sticky rice cake, pancit, puto cheese, cuchinta and the couple celebrant prepared chiffon cake and fish ball. Everything was delicious. We're all satisfied with the yummy food.
After eating, my friends started playing Jenga blocks while I went for karaoke just using my tablet and their big speaker. I was enjoying singing but I found their game enjoying, so I left my microphone and joined the game. I never thought playing Jenga was fun as it was my first time. It was both exciting and intense. Sadly I lost two times and as a punishment, they have to put a lipstick on my face.
After playing Jengga, we played UNO cards next, it's another enjoying game. Many of us played together with the couple and the game really took too long to finish. While we're playing others are also enjoying singing. And when we're hungry we'll go to the table, grab some food, eat and go back to the game again. We're all entertained.
The last activity we had was Zumba dancing. It had us perspire heavily, I mean my friends as I just enjoyed taking pictures and videos of them. They enjoyed dancing to different music genre. They are all great dancers, I would say they're talented indeed.
We enjoyed the night. We all went home full of fun and with full tummy. We're just happy to enjoy the day with the beloved couple. As we all got home, the couple celebrant sent us a message extending their gratitude for making their special day joyful.
Personally, I really miss this kind of bonding with them as I was so busy the previous weeks. That is why my heart is happy, I get to have a joyful weekend spent with family and friends. I look forward to spending more joyful moments with my dear friends.
