Hello once again dear community! I hope everyone is doing well! The weather is hot these days and to beat the heat we usually wanted to go for a cold drink, a cold ice cream drink or go swimming. As for us, we went swimming in a pool. It was located in the mountains of Brgy. Maurang, Caibiran, Biliran, Philippines. It was actually teachers day so we went together with my mom's colleagues. It's just me, my mom and my youngest brother who went together with my mom's coworkers who are also teachers. The sun is striking hot so we're more excited to dive into the pool.
It was our first time in the place and I would say that it's fascinating. I love the view, especially the mountain view. The cold breeze from the mountain overpowers the blazing heat. I'm so excited to eat and dive to the pool but as someone who loves to capture people, places and moments, I kept on taking videos and pictures first. I explored every area. There are cottages, a pool for children and adults, slide and grilling area. My brother and I personally enjoyed the basin structure, I'm not really sure what it is called but it looks like a big pan or basin with water. We just literally filled it water before we dipped into it. You would look like you are being cooked in a pot. But what I love is the view in all angles as you can clearly see the clear mountains and the clear blue sky.
We also took a lot of pictures beside the pool. I literally took a lot of selfies. Of course, we also shared yummy food.
After eating, I finally decided to swim together with the others. Well, honestly I do not know how to swim. It's just a good thing that they have a floater. I was really envious of people who knows how to swim. Many has taught me how but I never learned.
I also envied others as they keep sliding to the pool. It made me wanted to try it too. But as I reached the top of the slide, I hesitated to slide down and started crying. Yes, you can say, I'm actually someone who easily fears and is scared to try anything. It's my ultimate weakness. So I was stuck at the top of the slide with our friends cheering me up to slide down and my youngest brother who is being impatient with me because I was stuck for too long and many are still waiting to slide down after. After a few minute, I slide down, my mom and another friend is actually waiting to catch me at the other end. Still, I find it an accomplishment that I didn't step back and pushed through after all the crying and screaming. Everyone just laughed at me and that short moment by the slide made me tired and almost made me lost my voice.
It was a great and fun day. Indeed spending time in nature with friends and loved ones feels really nice.
