Hello beloved community. May everyone is having a productive day! I am so excited to share with you today a well spent half day together with my brothers and sisters in faith.

Every week, we volunteer in sharing comforting messages and good news to people from the Bible. I really love this activity because we are not just comforting people of God's promises in the future but we're also being reminded of the beautiful hope from the Bible. This is not a paid work but we heartily spend time for this activity inspite our busy schedule because of our love for God and the people. Meeting people who appreciates our hardwork makes our heart happy and knowing that God above values our sacrifices.

Today, we will be reaching out to people in the farthest part of our community. They're located in the mountain. Aside from a long walk, we have to cross three rivers. It wasn't a smooth walk since some paths are still muddy and has not dried up due to the heavy rains on the past days. We experienced slipping in the mud and even encountering a snake that made us ran back but few minutes later we continued the long walk. This experience actually made me thought how challenging the travel is for the people in the mountain especially when I learned that there are students who need to take the same path as they go to school everyday.

It took us an hour from the moment we left the base to reach the people in the mountains. We got to reach out destination safely. Despite the rough road, we enjoyed each others company and it felt like we are also exploring nature as we get to see nice views. I felt even more relaxed than tired from walking.

It was even more satisfying when we get to meet the people in the mountain, asked them how they were and share comforting words from the Bible. I got to learn their everyday challenges of living too far from the community and I really appreciate their endurance and perseverance especially during calamities.

After speaking with the people in the mountain it is time to go home. We got extra time to take pictures with nature. I feel so amazed of other things I found along the way. For instance, a tiny edible plant that looks like a Cucumber and really tasted like one. There is also a tiny bee that loved to land in my hand, the cute flowers. We also found a lot of vegetable fern along the way, so we collected some and made a delicious soup from it for lunch.

I am truly grateful for todays activity. I feel happy to comfort people through the Bible and was reminded too of beautiful promise in the future. Plus I got to enjoy nature as well and get inspired by God's wonderful creations.

I am happy to be able to share this wonderful moment with you and thank you for reading.
