Who wants to do UGH in Carinthia on a mountain farm?
We offer: own room, use of kitchen, bathroom. We have a lot of animals living with us, which want to be cared for when we are on the road. Animals on site: many cats, chickens, goats (they don't need to be looked after, but are milked by our son who lives in the house next door. But you will get goat cheese and milk if you like :-)
The chickens and cats have to be looked after in the morning and in the evening.
In addition, a garden with raised beds should be watered (with sprinkler). Food and NK would be secured with help.
Leisure facilities are directly in the village and within 15 minutes walking distance: gorges, endless mountains :) bathing lake, sun meadow, river.
2 bicycles are also available. Rail journey is possible.
Period: July, August 2020, MINIMUM 2 weeks because of training :)

What are the goals of NesoMi?
Areas where we want to become active:
- Holidays for destitute people (permanent renting of holiday homes, contact to commercial landlords in order to be able to rent properties at short notice and at a reduced price in case of booking gaps or in the low season)
- Holidays for people with a handicap (permanent renting of holiday properties, contact with commercial landlords to be able to rent properties at short notice and at a discount in case of booking gaps or in the low season)
- Leave for people who have suffered a stroke of fate (for example, coping with grief - trained social workers are to provide care if s is desired)
- Small events for lonely people (mediation of contacts via various platforms, subsidisation of meetings in smaller or larger settings)
- Neighbourhood assistance
- Voluntary help in old people's & nursing homes.
