The United States Department of Health and Human Services HQ in Washington DC and several adjacent buildings at the United States Capitol were evacuated Wednesday morning over an apparent bomb threat.
Several agencies including Capitol Police, Metropolitan PD, FBI, Federal Protective Service, and Department of Homeland Security as well as DC Fire and EMS's Hazmat support team responded to the scene, which was cleared by early afternoon.
The alleged threat is reportedly still being investigated.
