Nexus is a movement to connect and empower people around the world. It is the next generation of blockchain technology focused on developing a fully decentralized and distributed peer-to-peer network, a quantum-resistant and scalable ledger protocol, an advanced contracts platform for businesses, and a digital cryptocurrency. Nexus aims to decentralize software (through the 3-dimensional ledger), hardware (through the cubed satellite mesh network), and organizational structures for a truly distributed ecosystem.
Originally mined from the Genesis block on September 23, 2014, Nexus was created to address the limitations of the current distributed ledger technology by improving speed, scalability, security, and accessibility. The Founder and Architect, Colin Cantrell, designed the architecture of the 3-Dimensional Blockchain (3DC) that will be built through the 3 phases of the TAO framework (Tritium, Amine, and Obsidian).
