Welcome to the robotic era in digital Collectible Trading Card Games. Humans have vanished from the material plane and robots are now dominating the galaxy. ChiFiBots is bringing a plethora of new features into the TCG world, with limited edition cards, world building, land ownership and much more.

The Problem
In traditional digital Trading Card Games, you have to invest a lot of money and usually end up with nothing when you've left the game. You don't know the true rarity of a card, how many copies exist out there, who owns them and if the gaming developer is printing new copies whenever they feel like it. You cannot sell or trade your cards, because you basically don't own them.
Also, when you don't behave the way the game developer or its shareholders want you to, they can and will take away everything you have worked for, including those cards you did spend real money on.
Eventually, all your in-game assets and achievements end up in the scrapyard.
Our Mission
The tides are turning and blockchain technology is putting real asset ownership back into the hands of players and investors. This new and exciting frontier is the specialty of our company NFT Studios. All our four founding members have years of experience with blockchains, decentralized communities and NFT games.
We will make a unique, affordable, and fun digital trading card game where you verifiably own each card, via a secure cryptographic wallet access. Only YOU will be in control of your assets. You will be able to trade, rent and sell your cards to other players. We will have no access to them from the moment they enter your wallet.

Storyline
Welcome to the universe known as the Cosmos.
The year is 2080 and humans have been extinct since the infamous Wipeout Day in 2030 when Planet Earth was destroyed by a series of meteors. ChiFiBots now inhabit the planets across the cosmos, desperately searching for their life source, the precious Fusion crystals.
The main story centers around 3 planets:
Planet Polaris - Queen Athena struggles to obtain more Fusion to keep her Alpha Kingdom afloat, while grappling with the balance of power on her planet and within herself.
Planet Vega - A 40 year rivalry between 3 former allies is at hand between Shambo, Jaw Lock, and Goliath. One foolish decision could set off a war for the ages.
Planet Atlas - The last saviour and newest ChiFiBot “Twinkle Dust” navigates her new world as she attempts to save her fellow ChiFiBots from slavery.
Although ChiFiBots is a friendly environment, these characters are deeply flawed and it's ultimately a story about survival and sacrifice.
It begs the question: How far will you go to save your loved ones?

Gameplay
The alpha version of ChiFiBots will feature the ChiFiBot characters in a 6 vs 6 format.
All ChiFiBots fall into one of three categories. 1. Brute - The tank role. Higher HP and shield. 2. Gladiator - The damage role. Higher attack points. 3. Technician - The support role. Has abilities.
The game will center around a punch/kick/slam battle format that is similar to rock/scissors/paper.
Punch beats Kick. Kick beats Slam. Slam beats Punch.
If you pick a winner, you negate the opponent’s attack. If you both pick the same option, both attacks go through.
Only 1 ChiFiBot is in the active position and only the active ChiFiBot can attack or defend.
The base set expansion will introduce a flurry of new card types to make the game more dynamic. Weapons, Armour, Artifacts, Locations - your ChiFiBots will have much to play with. And so will you!
Abilities and Moves
Technicians will have abilities that are either used once per turn from the bench or in the active position.
Abilities can be learned by other ChiFiBots in game or as an upgrade.
All ChiFiBots have unique moves and specials.
Specials are powerful moves that cannot be negated. The only restriction is that once a special has been used, that user cannot use another special for the rest of the match.
Users will be able to upgrade their ChiFiBots to gain stat boosts, utility slots, moves, and abilities via a skill tree.

However, being a digital TCG at the cutting edge of technology, programming costs have skyrocketed recently. There are just not that many developers out there, so the few existing ones can, understandably, ask for high salaries. The money will go to programming and building the community.
Luckily, we are experts in community building, as we are already running 1UP, a play2earn community on the HIVE blockchain. This enables us to tap into our own experience for ChiFiBots, as well as use the power of our existing community to kickstart everything to bring our robots to life.
All four NFT Studios founders are experienced HIVE members, who met each other in Krakow at SteemFest3 in 2018 - where we also met many of you! What Are The Keys?
Keys are special NFT's that can be exchanged in three exclusive stores. These stores are separate from the main shop and can feature: packs, avatar items, and exclusive ChiFiBot cards.
There are three types of keys that can be acquired in ChiFiBots.
- Promo Key - only obtainable in promotions.
- Winner’s Key - only obtainable by winning end of season rankings or major tournaments.
- Founder’s Key - only obtainable by being a founding member of the team, a large investor, or exchanging a certain amount of winner keys.

What are “Promo” packs? HIVE promo packs will be a combination of ChiFiBot character cards and other new cards exclusive to those who obtain their packs via this HIVE pre-sale.
It is scheduled to be released after the base set and will act as a mini set and may potentially introduce a new game mechanic.
What are “Day One” packs? Day One packs are the alpha packs consisting of only ChiFiBots that are playable in the Alpha game. These include the 20 original base set ChiFiBots and one exclusive promo “Alpha Bot”, the first ChiFiBot.
