My Wildest Onboarding Journey Yet

They say nothing good comes easy and honestly, if you want to know more about that, just try to onboard someone to the hive blockchain. One integral aspect of the hive blockchain of Hive blockchain is onboarding because you can’t enter a room without coming through the door.  Aside the curios minds who discovered the blockchain on their ow , most of us have onboarder when we are to talk about our journey on Hive. These individuals held our hands from day one until we were able to find our feet and navigate the blockchain on our own. As they say, life is a continuous cycle and such is growth. Once we have been able to find our way on the blockchain, at some point, we also wish to bring others to be a part of this amazing family. Speaking of onboarding, I have tried to onboard so many individuals to the blockchain but just a few of them have been able to make it and stay grounded. I remember speaking to a very close friend of mine about Hive and encouraging her to join us. The first thing she said was no, even before I started. As a patient friend, I gave her sometime to think things through before bringing it up again. The next time, she was receptive and we stared talking about all she needed and what she needed to do and not do.  She understood the process and the rules, but she had a few questions. This first question she asked me was how much she can earn a day. Honestly, I didn’t know which answer to give her because hive isn’t like a market place or bank where you know what you’re coming in for. I told her I didn’t know and this was because the purpose of hive was way beyond the rewards. She said I had to give her a definite answer because she was looking for quick money with little to no labor. I was so shocked. The further added that she didn’t want to spend so much time on Hive because she doesn’t even know if she would like it. But how would you know if you like something when you don’t try it first. The next couple of days were all about trying to convince this friend to see the light. On one glorious Friday, we were at it again and she told me she didn’t think she could actually join the blockchain because she didn’t trust that it was legit. And that as my friend, she supports all that I want to do but she’ll rather prefer to benefit from me that join me on hive.😂  As funny as that sounded, I understood her and that was just it. I told her anytime she was ready, I was here for her. Since then, anytime we talk, I make sure to bring she joining the blockchain and she has still been thinking about it till date. If there’s ikr thing I learnt from this, it’s to know when to give up because everyone knows what they want and what they’re doing. Hive is a place for everyone and there’s no way I can drag someone here without they wanting to be here. - - - all images belong to me. - - -
