Por acá en los lados orientales hay mucha actividad religiosa los feligreses están felices especialmente los margariteños de celebrar las festividades de la milagrosa Virgen del Valle como lo hacen todos los años, y aunque no soy muy afecta hablar de religión o política aquí en la plataforma, llama mucho mi atención como los seres humanos promueven su Fe. De nuevo entrando al mundo de la joyería y accesorios y hablando de Fe hoy les voy a compartir la elaboración de una Pulsera con técnicas mixtas la mitad la teji con el nudo plano muy conocido por los artesanos como técnica macramé, la otra mitad la realicé con mostacillones y balines dorados; también use una crucecita que combiné con un Nazar actualmente conocido también como ojo turco que en las culturas y tradiciones antiguas era utilizado como amuleto de protección contra las malas influencias así como para atraer la buena suerte y prosperidad. ELABORACIÓN DE LA PULSERA: PRIMER PASO : Voy a comenzar usando la regla para medir un metro del hilo chino negro de 0,08 mm., y lo voy a cortar usando las tijeras, luego uso el encendedor para afilar las puntas y así empezar con la elaboración: >MAKING THE BRACELET: STEP ONE: I'll start by using the ruler to measure one meter of 0.08 mm black Chinese knot thread, and I'll cut it with scissors. Then I'll use the lighter to sharpen the ends and begin making the bracelet:  PASO DOS: Una vez que tengo preparado el hilo, lo doblo a la mitad a una medida de cincuenta centímetros cada hilo igualo las puntas y voy a insertar un balín dorado por los dos hilos que aseguro con un nudo sencillo, ahora voy a colocar la crucecita de cuarzo y coloco otro balín dorado, hago otro nudo sencillo y ajusto bien. Aquí voy a pasar por los hilos el Ojo Turco o Nazar y lo corro hasta el nudo para quede pegadito, después de este procedimiento, tomo los ochenta centímetros de cordón piel de serpiente negro, lo coloco debajo de los que llamaré hilos centrales y a el lo llamaré hilo anudador para comenzar a tejer nudo plano. Este nudo como lo he explicado en ocasiones anteriores se compone de dos partes en la primera parte empiezo por el lado derecho colocando el nudo anudador por encima de los nudos centrales, paso el hilo anudador de la izquierda por debajo de los centrales y lo saco por el ojal que se formó del lado derecho, halo las dos puntas para asegurar y ya tengo el primer nudo este procedimiento lo realizo ahora del lado izquierdo para completar un nudo y asi voy tejiendo hasta tener el largo deseado en este caso será seis centímetros. >STEP TWO: Once I have the thread ready, I fold it in half to a measurement of fifty centimeters. This knot as I have explained on previous occasions is made up of two parts in the first part I start on the right side placing the knotting knot above the central knots, I pass the knotting thread on the left under the central ones and take it out through the eyelet that was formed on the right side, I pull the two ends to secure and now I have the first knot this procedure I now do on the left side to complete a knot and so I knit until I have the desired length in this case it will be six centimeters.  PASO TRES: Una vez que tengo la medida de seis centímetros del tejido nudo plano, voy a dejarlo así para tejer el otro lado que será diferente pues voy a usar mostacillones; escogí colores fucsia, lila y morado para combinar con los colores del Nazar; inserto por el otro extremo un balin dorado por los dos hilos y aseguro con un nudo sencillo, abro los hilos y por uno de ellos paso un mostacillón lila, uno fucsia, uno morado uno fucsia, hago igual del otro lado, uno las puntas y paso un balín dorado, halo bien para que se una y realizo el proceso dos veces más, corroboro medidas y tengo seis centímetros de cada lado los dijes del centro tienen una medida de tres centímetros para un total de quince centímetros que es el largo de la pulsera. Hago un nudo sencillo para terminar ese lado. Ahora con las tijeras y el encendedor corto y sello el otro lado de la pulsera. Para el cierre realizo un nudo franciscano y coloco dos mostacillones en cada punta para darle un acabado más femenino, y así queda. >STEP THREE: Once I have the six-centimeter measurement of the flat knot, I'll leave it like that to weave the other side, which will be different because I'll be using seed beads. I chose fuchsia, lilac, and purple to match the colors of the Nazar. I insert a gold bead through the other end of the two threads and secure it with a simple knot. I open the threads and thread a lilac bead, a fuchsia bead, a purple bead, and a fuchsia bead through one of them. I do the same on the other side. I join the ends and thread a gold bead. Pull it tight so it joins. I repeat the process two more times. I check the measurements and have six centimeters on each side. The center charms measure three centimeters, for a total of fifteen centimeters, which is the length of the bracelet. I tie a simple knot to finish that side. Now, with scissors and a lighter, I cut and seal the other side of the bracelet. To close it, I tie a Franciscan knot and place two seed beads on each end to give it a more feminine finish, and that's how it looks.
