This video has taken me a few days to edit as I wanted to make it look really good and the music was created with elements from Suno Studio and some composed by myself. So really proud of that. Using AI to complement a piece I started to compose in Logic, blew me away to be honest.
Anyway back to the good old world of steam, when we used Beam Engines to pump water from one location to another and in this case to maintain the water levels of the Kennet and Avon during the Industrial Revolution, the early 1800s but you’ll be perhaps surprised to learn, this engine is still actively used. Not as frequently as it would have been pre-rail
We visited last weekend on the 27th September as part of one of their steaming weekends, where they have the whole system up and running. The smells and the sounds were incredible.
