Last night was absolutely amazing, check out my previous post to learn more about the event which was an Electronic Music Open Mic (EMOM) night at the excellent Old Street Records in London. If you know London at all, this is the area known as Shoreditch. Quite a hip and trendy place these days but never used to be, perhaps even a decade ago. Changed massively.
I performed last night, the third act and in the end we had 8 artists. I was so focused on my set that i forgot to record any of it to play back later, nor did i take photos of my setup on the stage. However if you have seen my posts of late, it’s pretty much the system that I’ve been developing over the past few weeks.
Anyway, I did take photos of the other performers and their instruments.
The whole thing went very smoothly, was well received by the audience and there was plenty of chat afterwards about the gear we use and our techniques.
Every artist has something totally different.
People came from all over the South of England as well as London plus we had a couple from Chicago in the audience.
