Bullfinches like rowan berries

This year we have a good harvest of rowan berries. The coming winter pleased us with not very strong frosts, which alternated with thaws. For birds to feast on rowan berries very good conditions. On the way to the forest there is a small area where rowan trees grow.

Today I was walking past and saw a small flock of bullfinches that were enjoying rowan berries. Although there weren't many bullfinches, I decided to watch them. They were jumping from one branch to another and quickly picking rowan berries.

They quickly gnawed the berries and threw out the seeds from the berries. It was very interesting to watch them.

They did this in unison and paid almost no attention to me. Perhaps they were very hungry.

Of course, I was very interested in watching the bullfinches, especially since there were several of them.

They picked several berries at a time and swallowed them right away. It's good that no one was around at that time and no one bothered me.

It was just a pity that they gradually climbed to the top of the trees for a new portion of berries and I also had to move to photograph them.
