So, here's a taste of #beersaturday down at San Marcos La Laguna in Lake Atitlán.

First things first!

Benji is a new volunteer at #HiveHubGuate and his hometown team is playing a friendly match against a Spanish team, so we thought it was exciting to find a way to screen it and enjoy it together.

I really want Benji to discover the benefits of Hive, so I offered him a beer to show himcash back works with @thedistriator and also to share his enthusiasm and joy for the game.

It was not easy to achieve all this, because the projector we found is old and only has VGA output, so we turned to the wonderful @buttcoins who is able to solve any problem and gave us an HDMI adapter. So with a little patience, we managed to project on one of the few white walls in the lobby.

This gives us a reason to try to find a way to recreate a screening room for upcoming games or movie evenings. It's a great idea.

I think this setup will encourage our new partner to bet on Hive and share his passion for soccer in our ecosystem.

Right now it's only 30 minutes into the game, nothing too exciting has happened but he's really enjoying it nonetheless. And of course, @pizzathedog is making bets to see who guesses the result, I say they are tied 1:1 and if I win, the prize is brownie with ice cream, hopefully it stays that way hahahaha.

As for the #BeerSaturday, we are trying the gallo blonde beer and the moza bock. Of course we will do a more accurate review, but I advance that they are super fresh and served from the tap, it's a hot day and this suits us very well, even though it's barely only half a day hahahahahahahahaha.

Benji es un nuevo voluntario en #HiveHubGuate y el equipo de su pueblo de origen está jugando un partido amistoso en contra de un equipo español, así que nos pareció emocionante buscar l forma de proyectarlo pra disfrutarlo juntos.

Realmente, quiero que Benji descubra las bondades de Hive, así que le ofrecí una cerveza pra mostrarle cómo funciona el cash back con @thedistriator y, además, compartir su entusiasmo y alegría por el partido.

No fue fácil lograr todo esto, porque el proyector que encontramos es antiguo y solo tiene salida VGA, así que recurrimos al maravilloso @buttcoins que es capaz de solucionar cualquier problema y nos dio un adaptador a HDMI. Así que con un poco de paciencia, logramos proyectar en una de las pocas paredes blancas de el lobby.

Esto nos da pie a intentar buscar la forma de recrear una sala de proyección para próximos partidos o tardes de películas. Es una idea genial.

Creo que este setup va animar a nuestro nuevo compañero a apostar por Hive y compartir su pasión por el fútbol en nuestro ecosistema.

Ahora mismo sólo van 25 minutos de partido, no ha pasado nada demasiado emocionante pero sin embargo él lo está disfrutando mucho. Y claro, @pizzathedog está haciendo apuestas a ver quien adivina el resultado, yo digo que quedan empatados 1:1 y si gano, el premio es brownie con helado, ojalá quede así jajajaja.

En cuanto al #BeerSaturday, estamos probando la cerveza gallo rubia y la moza bock. Por supuesto haremos una reseña más precisa, pero adelantó que estás súper frescas y servidas del grifo, hace un día caluroso y esto nos viene muy bien, a pesar de que apenas es sólo medio día jajajajajaja
