Hello and Hawideri dear people of HIVE!
It took a while to write a proper introduction but here it is.
I am Ninki or Dom or Dodo or …. I have many names ¯_(ツ)_/¯ just pick one you like.
I grew up in Upper Austria in a somewhat smaller village near the beautiful lake Traunsee but since 2010 I am living in Vienna and I am loving it here (sorry Dad 😀).
From my early days on I was interested in the creative process which started with envying the drawing skills of my older brother while attending a tourism school which taught me cooking and the basics of web developing and making movies (yeah — interesting mix I know).
After that I studied at the University of Applied Science in Hagenberg and specialized in Motion Graphics and 3D Animation. Currently I work as a Motion Designer / 3D Artist in a film and post production company here in Vienna.
A few years after university I taught myself a new 3D software called Cinema 4D. To improve my skills some friends and I created a little group named “Kastl” — which basically means “a square” in austrian slang terms. Within this group our goal was to share our knowledge and to create some interesting pictures — some of them you will see on this introduction and hopefully in some later posts.
A friend and colleague of mine saw those pictures and tried convincing me to put them on the internet as NFTs and also to join this lovely community — Hi @lichtcatchtoby 😉 More on that matter in a different entry. BUT if anyone has an idea for a good place to put those images, don't hold back. I only "really" know opensea at this point
Other big hobbies of mine are drawing and painting so chances are good that I will post some stuff here also — if you are interested let me know.
And before I forget I am a huge board game nerd 😄. If there are any like minded people here say hi 🙋♂️
That’s basically it for starters. If you want to know more or just want to say “hi” I am happy to read your comments. Please don’t be mad at me if I don't answer back immediately - I tend to have a lot of interests and sometimes to get lost in them.
Cheers and all the best Ninki
PS: I forgot the occasional “Sorry for the obvious mistakes - English is not my mother tongue!”
