Tricycle! Tricycle!

One of the modes of transportation here in our country, the Philippines, is tricycle. When I was a kid, we always say that, "Alam mo'ng nasa probinsya ka na kapag puro tricycle na nakikita mo. (You know you're not in the city anymore when all you can see are just tricycles)." You see, I grew up in Manila where the main mode of transportation are jeepneys and buses, whereas in provinces, you seldom see jeepneys, only tricycles.

Tricycles are one of the things that I enjoy riding and looking at whenever I travel in other parts of our country. I love how different provinces pimp their tricycles. Some even have loud sound systems with bangin' bass. I love how different each other are in sizes and in colors. Some are big, some are even lowered, some can fit about 6pax, some the usual 4pax, excluding the driver, but still the same vehicle, a motorcycle and a sidecar.

The tryks (short for tricycle) here in this pic are the ones from Dumaguete. I call them Daguls or Jumbo because of their big size. They can fit four inside the sidecar and two at the back of the driver.

I'd love to share more pics of tricycles with you but I just can't seem to find them on my drive. 😢 Maybe next time.

l love to travel but my money doesn't allow me to do that as much as I want. If not traveling, I'm just usually at home, binging on everything. I'd really love it if you follow me, though, so that I can share more with you. Thanks. ✌ _ @ninyax
