Life Without Stress?

I totally understand when people detest being stressed. I guess humans would prefer a smooth kind of life, so peaceful and devoid of worry or any kind of stress, but hold on, can we really avoid stress? No doubt, anything worth doing in life comes with one kind of stress or another. We can hardly escape that part in the quest of getting things right and feeling filled; effort is needed, and it usually comes with stress, at least to some extent, unless what you are pursuing is not something meaningful. ![1761745435101.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nkemakonam89/23xyffbDKP9A1MawwRLioJ4FKeyiXVjbxcz9pEXymfV8SgKeX3aXJFE3ydHgp7WH9WKBV.jpg) ***** However, when we decide to escape the stress involved in our life pursuit, maybe we may end up escaping growth too, missing out on opportunities and being less fulfilled in life. Yea, that may be the price to pay. Let's take motherhood, for example, a role that comes with a dose of stress and patience. From my countless sleepless nights to the daily school runs that demand early rising to the unending laundry, teachings, corrections, and all manner of vital nurturing. these comes with stress one cannot avoid. Sometimes, I just look at my boys and smile softly, not because I’m not exhausted and stressed out most times, but because I understand that all these doses of stress I go through currently in raising them are part of shaping their future for good. ***** You see, it's a meaningful pursuit; getting the best result requires that I am up and doing; however, the result at the end will outweighs the stress I encountered. Most people have their personal goals and work, and achieving all of that comes with some stress. Just see that stress as part of this life, no food for a lazy man, lol. Looking back to when I was very active in real estate, running around in search of clients, the stress wasn't palatable . That stress brought me to where I am today before I pick up another project. Sometimes we are under pressure to meet up with dead deadlines; these things are stressful, a good kind of stress anyways rather than sitting in our comfort zone. Recently, I started a business. As a new entrepreneur, I need to be fully involved to understand most of the tricks related to the business before delegating to some staff or a staff member. I must confess that the stress so far has been much, but I have a goal. I need that little stretch now before doing the needful, yea, it's part of it, but I don't ignore recharging my body system you relief me of the stress. ![1761662323758.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/nkemakonam89/242s9n1L8xHYKNwmK7ks6T94aVS7f4yCqTjeqArREjdn2i1FadeTD4WApbQLWAY49J6nA.jpg) ***** The thing is, stress isn't an enemy; it's about knowing how to manage it so you don't get drained completely. However, I understand that there is a bad stress too, that type that leaves you totally drained and restless; you won't still avoid it completely but find smart ways to manage it and be alright. ***** Wrapping up, anything worth doing might stretch you a bit. No need to run away from it; just take it easy, one step at a time. When you need to rest, rest very well; when you need to eat, eat healthy; if your job or business requires that you delegate some work, do it happily when needed; and have fun, relax, and unwind once in a while. You will be alright las las. ***Images are mine***
