Academic programs are not complete without exams. It's one activity no student can escape, whether you like it or yes, lol. No matter how nervous you can be or how much you feel tension at the sound of the exam, it's just unavoidable. So the earlier you find a means of survival, the better, because at the end of each school session, teachers or lecturers want to evaluate your level of understanding of courses or subjects through exams.

Although exams are not totally the true test of knowledge. Some people can know things upstairs but sometimes score low in an exam. It could be due to different factors, so overall, exams and high scores don't completely tell how smart a student is, but I can't deny that it's a necessary activity.

Back then in school, I dealt with exams in a way that made me not feel overwhelmed about them. The tactic I used then was to ensure I read daily. Be intentional about following my personal timetable. I am not the type that reads for a long time, but I read consistently. Even if I am in transit, you will find me with one of my notebooks reading. Like, reading was just a routine for me. I made sure not to take a new topic without reading the old ones I was taught previously. This made me always position myself for impromptu tests and quizzes in the university. I took lots of impromptu tests without shaking because I was almost always ready to be tested.
My break time? Just check the library. Lol, you must find me there seated, reading and penning down important notes. I had time to play with my friends and just have fun, but that never took my study time; I was simply intentional. Again, once the exam is fast approaching, I embrace my study group. You see, topics I discussed with my study groups ehh, I hardly forget in the exam hall. It has a way of sticking to my brain like glue, and I just love it. A lot of people don't buy the idea of study groups, but if there is another tactic that helped me navigate difficult courses in school, then it was group study. It simply came through for me and made my exams look a bit softer.

These are basically the techniques I used back then in school to navigate through my exams, and they were quite helpful to the point that I never rewrote a course throughout my secondary and university levels.
Overall, what matters is people discovering what works fine for them and sticking with it in order to navigate through exams and succeed; it's a win-win.
