When it's natural, then it's perfect...that's the mentality of many people!
Even when they are risking their lives in a natural way...there is a case of someone close to me following a natural path over something that obviously was supposed to be handled using artificial medicine that we are blessed with, but since natural is assumed to be the best, this person blinded his ears to the rightful thing for his current case, despite how educated and exposed I felt he was. That's, by the way...

Most times, we hear people encourage others to always go natural and live a healthier lifestyle. Team natural will always sing it like a song, as if going natural means achieving perfection in all we consume and eat. It's good to go natural, no doubt; choose more natural food, natural breeze, and all of that. Some people even advocate growing your own food to live more naturally than artificially, and that's fine too. From the food we consume daily to some products we use on our bodies to our environment, you will hear it many times that natural is the best, but then, doing all these natural things, does it mean we are automatically right?

When I was growing up with my grandma, we usually farmed a lot of food and veggies, harvested them fresh, and prepared them for meals always, even fresh palm wine from trees. We consumed all of these natural things more often without any preservatives. It was a first hand experience for me those days, but I still remember that sometimes Grandma would restrict us from touching and using certain veggies, saying they had been attacked by pesticides and therefore were poisonous, yet they were grown naturally. This is one of great conviction to me that not all natural things are free from issues; some are simply harmful but appear natural. That's to tell you that some natural products can still harm our bodies, and sometimes we buy these things unaware and consume them thinking they are natural and therefore safe.

If you visit some hospitals and see some health conditions of some patients, you will understand that they are still breathing today because of machines and artificial medicines supporting their health. An experience over there wouldn't allow you to argue about natural vs artificial anymore. Come to think of it, most artificial products we use today were made from natural products to assist human lives.
In today's world, if you depend solely on natural products, I doubt if you can navigate life freely. That's just the simple truth, and it doesn't rule out the fact that naturals aren't good anymore, but these artificials are available to complement our lives and bring about balance. In other words, artificial shouldn’t replace natural but serve as a complement at the most moderate level. When a balance is achieved, we will have nothing much to worry about.

Natural is great, but obviously, artificial has saved many lives, brought solutions to problems, and given people different opportunities that natural hasn't done. Natural is not always the best, but it is the best in some things; we are meant to use it to improve our lives for good. The fact that some things are natural doesn't mean that they're the best for you, so there's no need to limit yourself to "I am team natural," "it is natural," or "nothing." Choose what works fine for you at every point in your life, whether natural or artificial, but in all, moderation is the goal.
