A few days ago, I wrote about the ways I handle prompts that seem difficult at the sight of them. Sometimes, it's actually writer's block that causes us to see topics as hard to write, with no ideas and nothing coming into our brains to develop the topic; sometimes, it's just because we are not in a good state of mind. Whatever, writer's block is a natural occurrence.

I doubt if anyone who creates content or the musicians, students, and even artists can escape this challenge once in a while. It happens, and it's normal; the only thing that is not normal is allowing it to linger for a long time, making you unproductive.
The moment I notice that I am struggling with creative blocks, I seek an escape immediately. Creative block, or writer's block, simply means that moment you ran out of ideas to keep creating your content. In those moments it feels like your brain is dried up, and you feel too empty to write or continue with a project. Personally, I have been there several times as a writer on the Hive blockchain. I usually feel this way whenever I am super exhausted and mentally drained or burnt out due to day-to-day life activities. It's one brain doing all of this daily work, and it's normal to feel creative block.

Having said that , one of the ways I deal with it when it shows up is simply to PAUSE whatever I want to write and take a long rest and sleep. Coming back, my brain and my entire body system will feel relaxed and refreshed, and I can think creatively and succeed. The power of a refreshed mindset cannot be overstated; it works wonders. Sometimes we can't cheat nature. You are tired because you are tired; don't force it, just refresh your mind and come back better.
At times, I still experience writer's block even without being physically exhausted; it just happens, and no ideas flow for me to write. In this case, I will start exploring communities on Hive, especially my niche communities, reading blogs, and reading stories and experiences of others, and before you know it, memories of my past experiences will start flowing like a river, and I will begin to wonder why I didn't think in that direction before then. If you notice my blog style, you will understand that I write more based on my personal experiences. I relate lots of blog topics to my real-life experience, and it makes it easier for me to keep writing without struggling much. After all, Hive is about your original content and sharing your experience or perspective about anything.

Sometimes, as simply as leaving my environment to stroll my street and look at things and some activities around, sparks up ideas for me, and coming back home, I am loaded with new ideas. Again, the more you read, the more knowledgeable and exposed you are to new information. This has been another way I fight creative blocks: just be a good reader and spot the difference in your creativity.
Overall, never see creative blocks as a weakness; they happen, but strive not to dwell on the challenge for a long time.
