Hello everyone, how are you? Let me remind you all to wish you a Happy Independence Day to all Nigerians. Oh yes, I once met a well-known activist from Nigeria, Hamsatu Allamin. Hamsatu is a female activist who came to Indonesia in 2022 for the Indonesian Women's Ulema Congress.
I noticed that she has a larger build than an Indonesian. The agenda was quite packed. Some of the items didn't have English translation. But I was impressed that Mrs. Hamsatu continues to learn about Indonesian Islam. What does Hamsatu do?

Hamsatu provides support to Boko Haram victims. From what I heard, Hamsatu received a call from her mother during her support. Hamsatu listens to the victims of Boko Haram, without exception. Speaking of listening, this also speaks to patience.
What else does Hamsatu do? Hamsatu provides recovery and rehabilitation for perpetrators of violence and gives back to the community. Furthermore, Hamsatu also creates other narratives about peace. I am truly amazed by the work Hamsatu does. This is not an easy task.

While listening to the victims, Hamsatu invited Islamic scholars in Nigeria to review Islam. I was very impressed with Hamsatu who came all the way to Indonesia just to study the women's movement and Islam. I am very impressed with the advocacy carried out. Especially to women and victims of Boko Haram.
Invite them to dialogue and change the existing narrative from Boko Haram to Boko Halal. Hamsatu also wrote a book and told about peace. As well as spreading it to schools, especially about Islam. Hamsatu takes the context of peace.
Work like this is not easy. I admire him because he is willing to continue learning in other people's countries and apply it in his daily life. That's all my bus told you. What do you think? Hopefully I'm not taking the wrong point of view. See you in the next story.
