Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're well. This week, I'll be sharing a lot about the replica houses I visited at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park). Why? I spent a full day at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park). I also took some concept photos on Shutterstock. This time, I'll be talking about the traditional houses of East Kalimantan.

In this section, there are three types of traditional houses. There are luxurious and grand traditional houses. There are also other smaller traditional houses. These include the Lamin House, the Bulungan Traditional House, and the Kutai Traditional House. In East Kalimantan, the Dayak Tribe is famous.

The name of the traditional house is the Lamin Traditional House, which is the traditional house of the Dayak Kenyah tribe. Another distinctive feature is its spacious and high stilt house. This house can accommodate many families. This traditional house can also hold other traditional celebrations. A striking feature of this traditional house is the dragon carving on the roof.

There are other motifs that reflect the local ethnic identity. The second traditional house is the Bulungan Traditional House. This traditional house, often referred to as the Tanduk house, has a unique architectural style, a mix of Malay and Dayak influences. Its distinctive feature is its three-pitched roof.

There are also stories about this house, including its function as a venue for important meetings of the Bulungan Sultanate. The roof is adorned with animal horns, a symbol of East Kalimantan culture. The walls feature floral ornaments, a characteristic of the Malay ethnic group.

Finally, I'd like to share a story about the Kutai traditional house, which consists of a stilt house. It's also often called Umaq Dado. This house is also inhabited by many families in East Kalimantan. However, this house serves as a defense, as it is usually built facing a river. It also features ancestor statues in the courtyard.

That's all I have to say about my visit to this house. What do you think? Does this confirm to you that Indonesia has many ethnic groups and traditional houses? I think so too. See you in the next story.
