Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. Recently, I attended a dance performance at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park). There were many creative Indonesian dances, from school-age to adult.
But every time a child danced, I always shed a tear. I felt so happy and touched watching them dance so carefree and so freely. It was so exciting. This was a creative dance competition based on traditional dances.

This event was attended by several art studios in Jakarta. When I saw the children dancing, I felt like dancing again and taking a dance class. They moved freely, laughed, and looked so happy. It felt so good to see children doing whatever they wanted and being supported by their families.
I remembered how, when I used to dance for Indonesian independence celebrations, my mother always forbade it. She said it would cost a lot of money. I hate remembering that. So, seeing this child, I felt so happy.

There was one dance about a happy little deer with his friends. That dance left a deep impression on me. If I could do it all over again, I'd want to dance it. As a child, it felt so carefree and happy.
At the same time, I imagined myself in the country where I went to school. In an arts performance, I danced a traditional West Javanese dance. So, I danced gracefully. I smiled happily as I performed it. Just imagining it made me happy.
That's all I can do. This story is a mix of my personal story and the dance I saw. What do you think? Do you feel the same way? Don't forget to leave a comment. See you next time.
