Hello moms and dads! How was your start to the week? Mine wasn't so great, as the girls have the flu, but I know it will gradually pass.  On another note, I want to share with you that seven years ago I became a mother for the first time, to my eldest daughter, my first great love, Alys Antonella. I still remember how tiny and fragile she was, as if it were yesterday. My little girl has grown up, and with her, my maternal instinct. I am always watching over her every step, and now she is a big girl who serves as an example to her little sister Abby.  Her birthday was on September 15, the official first day of school, but I decided she would stay home that day to spend the morning with me and her little sister. A few days earlier, we looked for some gifts for her, as well as some sweets that she loves so much. Like last year, I prepared a tray with a small cake, tequeños, and coffee with milk, which, by the way, is her favorite breakfast. She enjoyed it in the company of her little sister.     In the afternoon, we went to pick up her biggest cake, a gift from her aunt @noelyss. It was very simple but decorated with lots of joy and filled with Oreo cookie cream, which the girls love. We put it on a small table along with the smaller cake, some balloons, and decorations prepared by her grandmother. We didn't choose a particular theme for this birthday.   Before singing happy birthday, we took some pictures and ate mashed potato cakes, which are a must at birthdays. ¡Hola mamitas y papitos! ¿Como estuvo su inicio de semana? El mío no tan bien, ya que las niñas tienen un gripe, pero se que poco a poco irá pasando.
Por otra parte, quiero compartirles que hace 7 años me convertí en mamá por primera vez, de mi hija mayor, mi primer gran amor, Alys Antonella, aún recuerdo como si fuera ayer lo pequeñita y frágil que era, mi niña ha ido creciendo y con ella mi instinto materno, siempre voy cuidando cada uno de sus pasos y ahora es toda una niña grande, que sirve como ejemplo a su hermanita Abby.
Su cumpleaños fue exactamente el pasado 15 de septiembre, el día oficial del inicio de clases pero decidí que se quedará en casa ese día para pasar la mañana conmigo y su hermanita, días antes buscamos algunos regalos para ella, al igual que unas golosinas que tanto le gustan, preparé como el año pasado una bandeja con un pequeño pastel, tequeños y café con leche, que por cierto es su desayuno favorito, lo disfruto en compañía de su hermanita.
Por la tarde, fuimos por su pastel más grande, fue un regalo de su tía @noelyss, era muy sencillo pero decorado con mucha alegría y relleno de crema de galleta de oreo que a las niñas les encanta el cuál pusimos en una mesita en compañía del pastel más pequeño, con algunos globos y decoración preparada por su abuela, no elegimos una temática en particular para este cumpleaños.
Antes de cantar el cumpleaños, tomamos algunas fotografías y comimos pastelitos de puré de papas, que no pueden faltar en los cumpleaños quería comprar tequeños que no conseguí en ese momento, luego se fue la luz y por alguna razón olvidamos sacar fotos con el resto de nuestros familiares.

Un poco sudados y con sueño (por esperar la luz) cantamos el cumpleaños feliz y Alys apago su velita número 7 y pidió un deseo que desconozco pero se que pronto se hará realidad.
La noche llegó a su fin y desde mi cama pensé lo afortunada que soy de ser la mamá de Alys, una niña muy inteligente, llena de alegría y muchas ocurrencias, solo le pido a Dios que siempre sea una muy feliz y que me siga guiando en mi vida de mi mamá, para que sean más en su vida las razones por las cuáles sonreir y vivir cada día al máximo.
