Hello friends and family!  My brother turned 20. I still remember the day he came into our lives as if it were yesterday. I was only 11 years old, but I was present at the clinic on the day he was born. He was a beautiful chubby baby with black hair and very pink cheeks. Although he was born with a pneumothorax and was in the neonatal intensive care unit, he was able to go home with us after a week.  My brother and I share a favorite hobby, which is going to the movies together, so whenever my finances allow, I invite him to see a film because he is still in college and is fully dedicated to his studies. But I know that soon he will invite me, because his graduation is approaching.  On the other hand, his special day started very early with a delicious breakfast for him, with pastries and tequeños and a nice cup of coffee with milk, which is his favorite drink. Since we didn't have a cake, we used his breakfast as a base for a little candle so that my sister, my mother, and I could go into his room and sing "Happy Birthday" to him.   It wasn't until the evening that we gathered at home with the rest of the family and his friends to celebrate his life, share stories from our daily lives, laugh for a while, and enjoy some snacks. After a couple of hours, we sang "Happy Birthday" again with great joy and gratitude for having him in our lives. ¡Hola amigos y familia!
Mi hermano estuvo cumpliendo sus 20 años, aún recuerdo el día que llegó a nuestras vidas como si fuera ayer, yo tenía apenas 11 años pero estuve presente en la clínica el día de su nacimiento, era un hermoso gordito de cabello negro y cachetes muy rosados y aunque nació con un neumotorax y estuvo en unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatal, a la semana pudo irse a casa con nosotros.
Con mi hermano comparto un pasatiempo favorito y es ir al cine juntos, así que cada vez que mi economía me lo permite lo invito a ver una película porque el aún está en la universidad y tiene dedicación exclusiva a sus estudios, pero se que pronto el me invitará a mi, porque se aproxima su graduación.
Por otra parte, su día especial inicio muy temprano con un desayuno delicioso para él, con pasteles y tequeños y una buena taza de café con leche que es su bebida favorita, como no teníamos un pastel, utilizamos su desayuno como base para una velita y así poder entrar junto a mi hermana y madre a su cuarto para cantarle el cumpleaños feliz.
No fue hasta la noche que nos reunimos en casa con el resto de la familia y sus amigos para celebrar su vida, porsupuesto contar anécdotas de nuestro día a día, reírnos un rato y disfrutar de algunos pasapalos, después de un par de horas cantamos nuevamente el cumpleaños con mucha alegría y agradecidos de tenerlo en nuestras vidas, es una enorme bendición, se que tiene grandes propósitos a cumplir.
