Good morning, dads and moms!  The holidays are over, and with them came the rush to buy uniforms and supplies for the start of the new school year. The day before, we went to the mall to buy school supplies, mostly for Alys, since several items of her uniform no longer fit her because she is growing so fast, and of course, school shoes, since her old ones barely made it to the end of the year.    The next day, I got up very early to pack their backpacks with some supplies, although they don't use them much during the first few days, as they are adapting to their grades or levels and their new friends. I also prepared their lunchboxes with breakfast and some cookies that they love and can't do without for their afternoon snack.   Then I went to their room to start their morning. It wasn't easy to wake them up, but when I told them they were going back to school, they perked up. The hardest part for me is getting them dressed because they want to get dressed at the same time with my help, but I always tell them, "One first and then the other." Finally, they were ready to go to school and chose some stuffed animals to accompany them on their first day.    It was time to go to school, and they were bursting with joy. Their teachers welcomed them, and there was a welcome sign at the school entrance. I said goodbye to them with great nostalgia, seeing how big they are. Nothing prepares us for how quickly time passes. Alys started her second year of primary school and Abby started preschool. I kissed them on the forehead, gave them each a hug, and wished them a wonderful start to the school year. ¡Buenos días papitos y mamitas!
Se acabaron las vacaciones y con ellas llegó la corredera para comprar los uniformes y útiles para iniciar el nuevo año escolar, un día antes fuimos al centro comercial para comprar las cositas para ir a la escuela, la mayoría para Alys ya que varias prendas de su uniforme ya no le quedaban bien porque esta creciendo demasiado y porsupuesto los zapatos escolares ya que los anteriores a duras penas llegaron al final del año.
Al otro día me levante muy temprano para alistar sus morrales con algunos útiles, aunque no hacen mucho uso de ellos los primeros días, ya que se están adaptando a sus grados o niveles y a sus nuevos amiguitos, también preparé sus loncheras con su desayuno y unas galletas que no pueden faltar para merendar después y que les encantan.
Luego fuí hasta la habitación para iniciar su mañana, no fue tan sencillo despertarlas pero cuando les dije que iban a la escuela nuevamente, se llenaron de ánimo, el momento más difícil para mi es colocarles la ropa porque ellas quieren vestirse al mismo tiempo con lo ayuda, pero siempre les digo: "Una primero y la otra después", pero finalmente estuvieron listas para ir a la escuela e eligieron unos peluches para que las acompañaran al primer día del colegio.
Llegó el momento de irnos a la escuela y no les cabía la alegría en su cuerpo, sus maestras las recibieron al igual que había un letrero de bienvenida al colegio al entrar, yo me despedí de ellas con mucha nostalgia al ver los grandes que están nada nos prepara para lo rápido que pasa el tiempo, Alys empezó su 2do grado de primaria y Abby la sala de 4 años en el preescolar, les di sus besos en la frente, un abrazo para cada una y les desee a cada una que tuvieran un lindo inicio de clases.
Poco a poco les iré mostrando sus experiencias en este nuevo año escolar y como me va en mi vida de mi mamá.
