Good morning, dads and moms!  A few days ago, I took the girls to the movies as a reward for successfully completing their school year. as both of them achieved the necessary skills to move up to the next grade. Alys is moving up to second grade in elementary school and Abby to the 4-year-old class in preschool. As their mother, I am very proud to have two such intelligent girls. In addition to reaping the rewards that we have achieved with the help of their teachers and myself, it has been a team effort.  So we went to Cines Unidos. One of the things I like about this place is that you go directly to a screen where you choose the movie, the seats inside the theater, and the popcorn combos. This time, the girls wanted to see Lilo and Stitch. The popcorn and soda were small, and I got a medium soda for myself. I spent a total of $16.88, and it didn't take me even five minutes to do this.     While we waited for the show to start, we took a tour of the shopping center and were surprised to find a small park for children, inflatables, face painting, and flower-shaped balloons as gifts. The girls played for a while, smiling nonstop and repeating how happy they were.       It was time to go into the movie theater, but first we stopped by the popcorn stand where we had already bought some popcorn. Then we took our seats and the movie started. Alys was very excited when she saw Stitch, but after about 15 minutes, Abby felt a little scared, fell asleep during the movie, and her sister ate her popcorn and hers.    The film was full of adventure and very emotional. My favorite part, which brought tears to my eyes, was when they wanted to take Stitch away in the spaceship and he said, "This is my family. It's small and broken, but it's good." Since then, I haven't been able to get that phrase out of my head.    The girls couldn't have asked for a better gift, although Abby couldn't enjoy it because she fell asleep. Alys, on the other hand, kept repeating how happy she was to be able to see the movie and asked me to take her back to the cinema soon. Hace unos días llevé a las niñas al cine, como regalo por haber culminado su año escolar de manera satisfactoria, pues ambas alcanzaron las competencias necesarias para pasar al siguiente grado, en el caso de Alys paso a segundo grado de primaria y Abby a sala de 4 años en el preescolar, como su mamá me siento muy orgullosa de tener dos niñas tan inteligentes, a parte de que estamos recogiendo los frutos que con ayuda de sus maestras y mi persona hemos logrado, ha sido un trabajo en equipo.
Así que fuimos a Cines Unidos, una de las cosas que me gusta de este sitio es que uno se dirige directamente a una pantalla donde se elige la película, los asientos dentro de la sala y los combos de cotufas, en esta oportunidad las niñas querían ver a Lilo y Stitch, las cotufas y refresco eran de tamaño pequeño y un refresco mediano para mi, gasté en total 16.88$, hacer esto no me demoró ni 5 minutos.
Mientras esperábamos que llegara la hora de la función, hicimos un recorrido por el centro comercial y nos encontramos con la sorpresa de que había un pequeño parque para los niños, inflables, pinta caritas y además globos en forma de flores como obsequio, las niñas estuvieron un rato jugando, no paraban de sonreír y repetir lo feliz que se sentían.
Llegó el momento de entrar a la sala de cine pero antes pasamos por las cotufas que ya habíamos comprado, después tomamos nuestros asientos y inició la película, Alys estaba muy emocionada cuando pudo ver a Stitch, después de unos 15 minutos Abby se sintió un poco asustada, se durmió durante la película y su hermana se comió sus cotufas y las de ella.
La película estuvo llena de aventura y muy emotiva, mi parte favorita y que me sacó una lágrima fue cuando querían llevarse a Stitch en la nave y el dijo: "Esta es mi familia, es chiquita y esta rota, pero es buena" desde entonces no puedo sacar esa frase de mi cabeza.
Mejor regalo no pudieron tener a las niñas, aunque Abby no pudo disfrutarla porque se durmió, en cambio Alys no dejaba de repetir lo feliz que sentía de poder ver la película y me pidió volver pronto al cine.
Fue una buena experiencia para ellas y que esperamos repetir pronto, porque no es lo mismo ver una película en casa que ir al cine.
