 Two weeks ago, we embarked on another adventure, once again to Falcón state. We only had a couple of days to enjoy and discover new places. We had planned to leave Maracaibo at 6:00 a.m., but we were surprised by heavy rain, so we had to wait an extra hour. Since we travel by motorcycle, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky just before we left.  We arrived at the General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge Toll, which is about 5 minutes from my home, and we lined up behind some cars to finally pass through the toll and formally begin our trip with the sunrise in the background.  After crossing the bridge and leaving my homeland behind, it is impossible not to feel the joy of going to a new destination. We continued on our way along the Falcón highway. - Zulia highway. The best part of every trip is enjoying the journey. We arrived in Mene Mauroa, a municipality in Falcón state that borders Zulia state, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes after starting the journey. We made a necessary stop to have breakfast and stretch our legs a bit.      We got back on the motorcycle and passed through other towns in Falcón, including Dabajuro. We didn't make many stops because we were running short on time, considering that we had left late. In this area, we stopped to go to the bathroom, or rather to improvise one, since there weren't any nearby.  Little by little, the mountains of the Sierra Falconiana came into view, and about 45 minutes later we arrived in Coro, the capital of Falcón. This city is the starting point for visiting other tourist attractions in the region. I was surprised to see a sculpture of a giant iguana at one of the distributors.   We stopped for lunch because we were very hungry. I don't know why, but traveling makes me very hungry. We thought it would be a good idea to eat grilled meat with yuca and handmade cheese, with some sauces on the side. Besides, we had to fill our bellies to continue our journey. Hace dos semanas inició otra aventura, nuevamente al estado Falcón solamente contábamos un par de días para disfrutar y conocer nuevos lugares, teníamos pautado salir a las 6:00am de Maracaibo, pero fuimos sorprendidos por una fuerte lluvia, así que tuvimos que esperar una hora más, ya que para nuestro viaje el medio de transporte es una moto, un hermoso arcoiris se pinto en el cielo justo antes de salir.
Llegamos al Peaje del Puente General Rafael Urdaneta que queda aproximadamente a 5 minutos de mi hogar e hicimos una fila detrás de algunos autos para poder finalmente pasar el peaje y iniciar formalmente nuestro viaje justo con el amanecer de fondo.
Después de pasar el puente y dejar a mi terruño atrás, es imposible no sentir esa alegría de ir a un nuevo destino, seguimos nuestro camino por la carretera Falcón - Zulia, lo mejor de cada viaje es disfrutar del camino, llegamos a Mene Mauroa municipio del estado Falcón que delimita con el estado Zulia, aproximadamente casi 1 hora y 30 minutos después de iniciar el trayecto, hicimos una parada necesaria para desayunar y estirar un poco las piernas.
Volvimos a la moto y pasamos otras ciudades de Falcón, incluyendo a Dabajuro, no hicimos muchas paradas, porque íbamos muy cortos de tiempo considerando que habíamos salido tarde, en esta zona nos detuvimos para ir al baño o mejor dicho para improvisar uno, ya que no había ninguno cerca.
Poco a poco fueron asomándose las montañas de la Sierra Falconiana, unos 45 minutos después llegamos a Coro, la capital de Falcón, esta ciudad es el punto de partida para recorrer otros sitios turísticos de interés de esa región, me sorprendió que en uno de los distribuidores había una escultura de una iguana gigante.
Nos detuvimos a almorzar, porque teníamos mucho apetito, no se porque pero viajar me da mucha hambre, nos pareció buena opción comer parilla con yuca y queso de mano, con algunas salsas para acompañar, además teníamos que tener la barriguita llena para continuar nuestro recorrido.
