OH BOY! ¿Cuánto tiempo ha pasado gentecita? Ciertamente, llevo mucho, demasiado, sin subir algo. Finalmente, estoy de vacaciones, no tendré clases en la universidad hasta octubre probablemente, así que, pensé en intentar reactivarme y dibujar nuevamente. Decidí ser simple para empezar, agarrar dos lápices que me habían regalado tiempo atrás y dibujar cualquier personaje de anime que me gustase.
OH BOY! How long has it been, people? It certainly has been a long time, too long, without uploading something. I'm finally on vacation, I won't have classes at the university until October probably, so, I thought I'd try to reactivate myself and draw again. I decided to keep it simple to start with, grab two pencils I had been given some time ago and draw any anime character I liked.
El personaje que escogí para dibujar y publicar fue Momo Ayase del famoso anime Dandadan, el cual actualmente tiene en emisión su segunda temporada y el cual me ha encantado.
Para comenzar, quise ser lo más simplista que pude con el objetivo de no bloquearme y dejar el dibujo de lado. A veces tener muchas ideas, complica el comenzar a dibujar, así que agarré la primera imagen de referencia del anime que vi de Momo, y comencé haciendo el típico círculo.
The character I chose to draw and publish was Momo Ayase from the famous anime Dandadan, which is currently airing its second season and which I loved.
To begin with, I wanted to be as simplistic as I could in order not to block myself and leave the drawing aside. Sometimes having a lot of ideas, makes it difficult to start drawing, so I grabbed the first anime reference image I saw of Momo, and started by making the typical circle.
Luego simplemente fui haciendo el boceto (Lo sé, no se veía nada lindo el boceto). He de decir que la locura de este anime es algo que me logra entretener y hacerme pasar un buen rato. Momo y Okarun, el otro protagonista del anime, tienen una química maravillosa, no sé, ¡solo quiero ver a esos dos juntos!
Then I just made the sketch (I know, the sketch didn't look pretty at all). I have to say that the craziness of this anime is something that manages to entertain me and make me have a good time. Momo and Okarun, the other main character of the anime, have a wonderful chemistry, I don't know, I just want to see those two together!
Probablemente, tome las fotos del proceso en las peores horas posibles y con las peores iluminaciones que pude, pero bueno, con el resultado final si intenté que saliera lo mejor que pude. A la hora de empezar a meterle sombreado quise comenzar por los ojos, probablemente por ver a otros artistas comenzar por allí, probé un lápiz 8B para esto, antes al dibujar a mano, los portaminas y lápices que usaba no eran muy oscuros, nunca le preste mucha atención tampoco, por lo que esta vez opte por usar un lápiz diferente.
Probably, I took the photos of the process in the worst possible hours and with the worst lighting I could, but well, with the final result I tried to get the best I could. When it was time to start shading I wanted to start with the eyes, probably because I saw other artists start there, I tried an 8B pencil for this, before when drawing by hand, the mechanical pencils and pencils I used were not very dark, I never paid much attention to it either, so this time I opted to use a different pencil.
No quiero extenderme tanto con mis comentarios en esta publicación, a decir verdad, por eso tomé pocas fotos del proceso. Como pueden ver, al hacerle un lineart y sombreado al boceto, logré un cambio positivo, incluso cambié leves aspectos como la boca, por ejemplo, detalles mínimos que de poco a poco aportan a un mejor acabado. Quise hacer muchos brillos en el cabello, no sé si exagere, pero estoy conforme con el resultado.
He de admitir que hacer detalle del sonrojo de los cachetes y los labios fue lo que más nervios me dio en su momento, pues un error ahí y al borrar mancharía el dibujo, y no quería que eso pasase. Afortunadamente eso no sucedió.
I don't want to extend so much with my comments in this publication, to tell the truth, that's why I took few pictures of the process. As you can see, by linearting and shading the sketch, I achieved a positive change, I even changed slight aspects like the mouth, for example, minimal details that little by little contribute to a better finish. I wanted to make a lot of shine in the hair, I don't know if I exaggerated, but I'm happy with the result.
I have to admit that the detail of the blush of the cheeks and lips was what made me most nervous at the time, because a mistake there and when erasing would stain the drawing, and I didn't want that to happen. Fortunately that didn't happen.
Ya para finalizar utilicé Photoshop y su herramienta de curvas y de blanco y negro para mejorar los colores y la iluminación del dibujo. No sé mucho de Photoshop, a decir verdad, solo usé un tutorial que encontré en YouTube para mejorar la iluminación de las imágenes.
Cosas que decir para terminar, les recomiendo el anime. No me gusta hacer espóiler, pero tanto la química de los protagonistas, como el humor y absurdo de la serie, la vuelven bastante entretenida de ver, llegando incluso a sacarme una lagrimilla cuando las cosas se ponen serias. (En serio lloré mucho en el cap 6 AYUDA ESO FUE DEMASIADO)

Finally I used Photoshop and its curves and black and white tools to improve the colors and lighting of the drawing. I don't know much about Photoshop, to tell you the truth, I only used a tutorial I found on YouTube to improve the lighting of the images.
Things to say to finish, I recommend the anime. I don't like to make spoilers, but the chemistry of the main characters, as well as the humor and absurdity of the series, make it quite entertaining to watch, even bringing a tear to my eye when things get serious (I seriously cried a lot in chapter 6 HELP THAT WAS TOO MUCH).
