--- --- --- **Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos amigos viajeros de esta comunidad, gusto en saludarles y seguirle mostrando lugares fascinantes, en esta oportunidad les mostraré la Catedral de la Ciudad de Maracaibo.** **I am pleased to greet you and continue showing you fascinating places, in this opportunity I will show you the Cathedral of the City of Maracaibo.** La catedral de San pedro y San Pablo esta justamente localizada en el casco central historico de la ciudad, justamente en frente de la plaza Bolivar y diagonal al palacio Lesgilativo, también muy cerca de la gobernación del estado Zulia, sin duda alguna un lugar cargado de historia ya que en su interior se encuentra una de sus joyas mas apreciadas como lo es el Cristo Negro llego justamente en Maracaibo en el siglo XVI, incluso es mucho mas antigua que la tablita de nuestra señora de Chiquinquirá Patrona de todos los Zulianos, tiene una edificación totalmente clásica que en su interior podemos observarlas como techos de madera, ventanales de madera y puertas de madera, como también el piso es de ladrillo pulido conjuntamente con sus paredes. >The Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul is located in the historic center of the city, right in front of the Plaza Bolivar and diagonal to the Palacio Lesgilativo, also very close to the governor of Zulia state, undoubtedly a place full of history because inside is one of its most precious jewels as is the Black Christ arrived precisely to Maracaibo in the sixteenth century, It is even much older than the little board of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá, Patroness of all Zulians, has a totally classic construction that in its interior we can see them as wooden ceilings, wooden windows and wooden doors, as well as the floor is polished brick in conjunction with its walls.  --- En la fachada exterior podemos encontrar una arquitectura realmente interesante posee fachada norte, sur,y oeste este teniendo un cuerpo principal teniendo tres puertas de Madera una central de gran tamaño que comunica directamente con el altar, una derecha e izquiera que ambas comunican a cada lateral derecho e izquierdo, sobre la puerta central podemos encontrar un roseton con vidrieras de diversos colores encima de este se encuentra el escudo papal, en las fachadas laterales también existen un pequeñas puertas de madera que nos permiten acceder a la catedral, donde se encuentran las banderas de vaticano, arquidiocesis de Maracaibo y del Estado de Zulia. >In the exterior facade we can find a really interesting architecture has a north facade, south, and west east having a main body having three wooden doors a large central one that communicates directly with the altar, a right and left that both communicate to each right and left side, On the central door we can find a rosette with stained glass windows of different colors above this is the papal coat of arms, on the side facades there are also a small wooden doors that allow us access to the cathedral, where the flags of the Vatican, Archdiocese of Maracaibo and the State of Zulia. Un detalle un interesante que podemos también encontrar es la puerta Santa donde podemos acceder para recibir la indulgencia plenaria, son pocas las iglesias que tienen puerta Santa para accerder y aquí en Maracaibo esta es una de ellas, realmente es bastnte fascinante que los detalles de fabricación de las ventanas de madera se conserven aún. >An interesting detail that we can also find is the fabricado en madera, en el area de la puerta esta cerrada en cristal con una puerta podemos encontrar un podio de multiples sillas en esta area podemos encontrar diversas imágenes interesantes la virgen de Coromoto la cruz, Santa Rita de Casia, conjuntamente podemos a la Virgen María jutsmente encerrada en su espacio particularmente este espacio es bastante hermoso además refleja gran paz. particularly this space is quite beautiful also reflects great peace.        --- Podemos encontrar en cada extremo latetal en la parte de adentro las bases en ladrillos con gran antiguedad, estas bases son bastante antiguas ya que todas las edificaciones antiguas de la ciudad, se dicen que muchos de estos ladrillos eran totalmente edificados y compactados con sangre de desechos o animales, en la catedral justo en la base de cada lado de la entrada podemos observar pilas bautismales estas estan elaboradas en marmol, podemos observar que las bases que sostiene a la iglesia están en madera conjuntamente con el techo que este esta fabricado en madera, también están los confesonarios de madera conjuntamente estaba la imagen de Jesús Nazareno este es perteneciente al convento San francisco the convent San Francisco de Asis.          --- Podemos encontrar en lateral izquierdo las muertas de madera que nos llevan al campanario, conjuntamente en sus ambos lados se encientran dos leyendas que expresan la historia de todos los obispos y los auxiliares que han pasado por lo largo de la arquidiocesis de Maracaibo han sido varios lo que han formado parte de la historia conjuntamente podems observar la imagen del santo Sepulcro y de santa Rita, en el altar del lado izquierdo esta el Santísimo Sacramento que guarda el cuerpo de Cristo y cuando mirás hacia arriba observas la imagen de puesto que este es mas antiguo que la reliquia de nuestra señora de Chiquinquirá justamente llegó en siglo XVI, era venerado en ese tiempo en Gilbratar, este sobrevivió a un incendio y quedo totalmente intacto de hecho el sector el Milagros tiene su nombre así debido a esta imagen, es hermoso poder observar esta gran antiguedad y que podamos contar con gran historia, solemnidad se celebra todos los 22 de Julio, también tenemos presente la imagen de la virgen del Carmen y el corazón del monseñor Arturo Celestino Alvarez. >In the cathedral the oldest jewel that we can find is the Black
