Happy Wednesday, friends of Canminate! Thanks to this initiative, I now go for a nice walk at least once a week. My smartwatch confirms this and my health is certainly happy. Fortunately, we've had good weather these last few days and the temperatures have risen, especially during the day, so I decided to go for a walk in one of the most popular places for walking or cycling in Pistoia.
There's a walkway several kilometers long along the Brana River, one of the city's main streams. It's a great place for walking. It's easily reached from various points in the city and is built on the left side of the Brana River. The walk along this walkway is very beautiful because it's located in one of the city's green areas. In fact, there are also many places to sit along the way, so you can also rest and many older people sit to admire the greenery and the stream. Many people, including my family members who live nearby, go for a walk in the evening and feed the ducks. In this stream there are various types of ducks, some herons and various birds, and in the evening you can also hear the cawing of the ducks. toads!

Por suerte, estos últimos días ha hecho buen tiempo y las temperaturas han subido, sobre todo durante el día, así que decidí dar un paseo por uno de los lugares más populares para caminar o ir en bicicleta en Pistoia. Hay un paseo de varios kilómetros a lo largo del río Brana, uno de los principales afluentes de la ciudad. Es un lugar estupendo para caminar. Se accede fácilmente desde varios puntos de la ciudad y está construido en la margen izquierda del río Brana. El paseo por este sendero es muy bonito porque se encuentra en una de las zonas verdes de la ciudad. De hecho, también hay muchos lugares donde sentarse a lo largo del camino, así que uno puede descansar y muchas personas mayores se sientan a admirar la vegetación y el arroyo. This walk is also very beautiful because the trail runs along the old walls of Pistoia, the ones that are still standing and well-maintained. Unfortunately, years ago, it wasn't a nice area; it was famous for drug dealing, but it's been redeveloped for years, and now everyone goes there to walk and relax. It's a much-loved area among residents; the river is very clean and beautiful to look at. There are beautiful trees along the entire path, and they're beautiful in every season. Perhaps it's because the weather is still warm, but they haven't yet shown their autumn colors, which is a shame because I love this area in the fall, but I'll definitely return, hoping to see lots of brown and orange leaves. There are also beautiful houses overlooking the river and various bridges connecting the two banks; it's truly a peaceful and serene place to walk!
Este paseo es precioso porque el sendero discurre junto a las antiguas murallas de Pistoia, las que aún se conservan en pie y en buen estado. Por desgracia, hace años no era una zona agradable; tenía fama por el narcotráfico, pero se ha ido rehabilitando desde hace años y ahora todo el mundo va allí a pasear y relajarse.
