Most times I tend to ponder if my country is stuck on reverse , why because, when most countries around us have gone past electricity, because it is a important factor in industrial business and essential part of life , but it's not stable.
For instance ,there are some areas which uses ratios in terms of light , some get in the morning and others at night and it is still tagged by the power supply people as 24 hours power supply.
My area we get the electricity 5days a week and in that 5 days 2out of those days are constant light while the remaining is not. So if you then do the calculator you would find out when you won't get the light , but most times it can catch you unaware , why because you will forget to by fuel for your generator .
But sometimes if you were not getting light for like three days then you know something is wrong, for example armod cables been stolen . I remember when it was stolen by some people although we actually know who stole it , but it would be inappropriate to mention it here , it took us 3 months because our government won't help you on that , you have to do it yourself.
We ended up contributing the sum of three thousand Naira each house for us to buy almond cables , that didn't end there it was vandalized again, this time it was the transformer . We contributed five thousand Naira each house , and still paid for installation of it to the power supply people. Back then we don't use meter ,we used postpaid and the bill was very enormous , my dad would be like "what we consuming that our bill is fourty_six thousand Naira for one month for the light that got spoiled or for the one we are not seeing. We ended up buying prepaid meter and it has been helpful.
