Saludos amigos de hive,Hoy salimos a comer, solo él y yo.
Nada planeado, nada complicado. Una de esas escapadas espontáneas que terminan siendo tesoros. Llegamos al sitio, ese que tiene olor a fritura y risas, donde el menú no necesita explicación porque ya sabemos lo que queremos: patacón. Crujiente, generoso, con ese toque de calle que sabe a hogar.
Mi hijo lo pidió con entusiasmo, como si fuera el premio del día. Y yo, bueno… yo me lo comí como marrana feliz. Sin culpa, sin dieta, sin interrupciones. Solo él frente a mí, con los ojos brillando y las manos llenas de salsa. Nos reímos, hablamos de cosas sin sentido, y por un rato el mundo se detuvo.
No hubo fotos, ni stories, ni poses. Solo nosotros, el patacón, y ese tipo de amor que se vive en bocados compartidos.
Qué rico es vivir así, sin prisa. Qué bonito es ser su mamá.

Nothing planned, nothing complicated. One of those spontaneous getaways that turn out to be treasures. We arrived at the place, the one that smells of fried food and laughter, where the menu needs no explanation because we already know what we want: patacón. Crispy, generous, with that street-side touch that tastes like home.
My son ordered it enthusiastically, as if it were the prize of the day. And I, well... I ate it like a happy pig. No guilt, no diet, no interruptions. Just him in front of me, his eyes shining and his hands full of salsa. We laughed, we talked about meaningless things, and for a while the world stopped.
There were no photos, no stories, no poses. Just us, the patacón, and that kind of love that comes with shared bites.
How wonderful it is to live like this, without rushing. How lovely it is to be his mother.
